From what I'm hearing, Gates will remind Jets fans of David Clowney

Former #Jets RB Terrance Ganaway says he's headed to St. Louis, according to his twitter acct.
    LOL

And people b*tched about Scotty McKnight being a wasted draft pick.

Clyde Gates is fast as hell. Possibly even less polished as a WR than Hill, but he's another absolute flyer. At least speed at WR is much improved, even if the guys are raw.

Wow - this sucks. I didn't think there would be that much interest in Ganaway.

Sparano had a good luck at him last year, so he must think there's something there.

Jets claimed TE Konrad Reuland off waivers from the 49ers.
A pass-catching specialist, Reuland reeled in nine balls for 73 yards during the preseason. His rawness as a blocker made him a causality at final cuts each of the past two years in San Francisco, however. His stay on the Jets' 53-man roster could be short.

You've got to trust Sparano's judgement on any Miami guys.

    Just sign Evan Moore already

Gates can't catch, Rueland can't block.

Never underestimate Shotty's craving for former Jets, even if he never saw them.

Slow down people..This gives the Jets a week or so to elevate him themselves..If they don't like him they can just waive him and move along..

No different than claiming Mardy Gilyard last year and waiving him within a week

Gates is really fast. I'm surprised that the Dolphins didn't give him more time to develop, I think he's just a 2nd year player. Seems like a casualty of regime change.

Let Lal have a look at him to see if the potential is really there or not.

Do we have to make immediate cuts now that we claimed 3 new players?

Question here is who are we going to waive to add these guys?
