So, you would give yourself the short-shrift in dealing with an individual better armed than yourself. Good for you. Glad to know you won't be partnering up with any LEOs whose life may be in your hands.
True statement is not debatable.
Still nothing from the OP on the subject, day 3. Guess the hot air has passed.
Defend this. Very graphic. They could of sent the dog at him and as close as they were to him, they could of tased him. He was executed!
Unfortunately it looks like this was handled badly, but I can't say as I wasn't there. That said, LEOs desperately need extensive training in dealing with individuals with mental health or developmental issues.
I'm not quite sure why you keep harping on the tasing angle? They're not magical, foolproof devices, you know. Sometimes a baton works better, other times OC. But since the latter two are more graphic in their implementation, we have the uneducated public demanding their use less and less.
It is a no win situation. I really hope the police haven't gone down a road where there is no responsibility. We all know there are rotten cops and if the people who run these departments to take the action to rid themselves of the rotten apples. BTW my brother was a Cop in NY!
