    Yes personally, no economically.

Even though I'll be voting Obama (or maybe Green party if they're on the ballot in NY, as I know Obama's got NY in his pocket anyway), I don't think his first term was a success, nor am I confident with "where we're headed".

But do I think increasing the military budget, cutting taxes and fetus citizenship is the way to go? No.

Yes...business by me is very good. The increased regulations have made CPA tax work very in demand. While I benefit from it, I do not agree with it.

A few more years and I am retiring early and gonna be the JETS GM. We need a bean counter in there.

LOL! another bean counter .....As one of those Federal employees who could have retired a few years ago i am still on the job because i really enjoy what i do.....I agree that the CSRS system i am under in hindsight was unsustainable and the Feds implemented a new system in the 80's that was less generous and again this year took more steps to lessen the Governments cost to future pensions......

I will stay on the job a few more years to do my part in helping lessen the load on the economy...

Yes, but that has nothing to do with Obama.

This thread reminds me of the time many years ago, when I was talking with a roommate's friends, a dozen powerlifters, and each balding, acne-covered 20-something was telling me how they were scientific about their steroid use and suffered no ill effects. To a man: even the 20 year-old who had kidney failure 6 months prior.

Thanks for bringing back the memories!

He's a horrible president. Sorry you can't bring yourself to admit that.

That said, I'm better off because I retired with a pension that was in place long before him or Bush and have since started another career in a field desperate for people. That has little to nothing to do with who is in office.

I plan on doing the same thing your side did.

Wait until Obama isn't re-elected and then act like I never agreed with anything he did.

I have a side? I wasn't aware. I'm a registered Conservative who is pro-choice and pro-illegal immigrant reform. Furthermore, I don't vote or form opinions according to party dogma, I do so by looking at the facts and how they directly affect me. Something 90% of the posters here can't say.

I voted no, but that's because I'm a public school teacher who is now paying more for his benefits and haven't seen a raise in two years.

So I guess you have to put me in the "No, but not because of Obama" category
