The sad thing Hunter is right.

Look the media is indeed tough here but it wasn't the media who was Cheering Chad when he was injured during a game, it was us, and we have to stop acting as people without any sense at times.

That's certainly a creative title by Mr. Cimini.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Hunter. New York is brutal, often unjustly so, but you can't tell me that he didn't get more than a fair shake (and plenty of $) to prove himself.

Come on, Ray, it was more than this "bad preseason". He was awful last year as well.

The fans likely acted out of hand, but we can't ignore that Hunter simply sucked as a starting RT in the NFL.

Wayne Hunter made more money during his tenure with the Jets than you or I will ever see in our lifetimes. Don't feel bad for him.

Let's be clear; replacing Damien Woody when your backup (Turner) is out for the season...it was a real opportunity, but a far cry from a "fair shake".

EDIT: and for that, blame Calla-Rex-Tannen-Schott. (Something quite atrocious)

-Wayne got paid big $$$ and was a starter for a full season and a pre-season.

-Wayne played horribly for most of that stretch of time.

    -Jets fans booed Wayne.

In Wayne's World, none of these things have any relation to each other. Nice logic and critical thinking skillzzz...

Block, and no one would say anything. Even be average. Slauson isn't persecuted by the fans or media.

In one preseason game, Howard played better than Hunter ever did.

Hunter was poor, at his best. Who gets spun around by the DE over and over again? Hunter does.

So, here I am, minding my own business, reading a thread, and lo and behold, an unprovoked personal attack by my ol' buddy Ray Ray. Good job Ray.

Trying to derail another thread? It is hilarious how you love to get on your pedestal with this ****, and yet, STILL can't help yourself.

He is somewhat right because even arguably the greatest Jet of all time, Darrelle Revis catches a lot of **** from fans, but Wayne Hunter was legitimately terrible and deserved his criticism.
