Chaz Schillens sighting: Practicing, expected to play

What's the over under on when he gets hurt? Do we count it in quarters, possessions, or plays?

This guy just gets me angry.

Gaffney would be such an upgrade.

So glad the Jets passed on Gaffney.

I would have bet anything that the Jets would have signed him within 24 hours after the Pats cut him.

I think schilens will last a few plays before he gets hurt. Id say he will be on ir by mid 1st quarter.

May I be the first to congratulate you on the Patsy's winning the preseason eastern division crown?

I think the over?under is on whether he makes it beyond the coin toss

Comeon don't mess with the Chaz. If M Sanchez can get him the ball, he will have a big year for the Jets. I wonder how many Fans are going to get a #85 Chaz Schilens jersey.

I need a link to believe he's on the field! I also hope Sanchez throws 10 passes today to him in Practice. I still think Plaxico, or some other Vet signs at halftime of the Bills game!

Lol gets picked to be a captain for the toss, coin goes up, and as he looks up to follow the coin, intense neck spasms, out for the year.

Great news. I don't really give a crap about missing practice, just contribute on Sundays, hopefully Schillens can stretch the field and make some plays for us.

Next week and they don't have to guarantee his contract for 16 weeks.

    Could still happen

Does that jersey come covered in band aids?

Finally for some encouraging news! Before training camp Shillenz was slated to be #2 with his size and speed, as well as the connection to Sanjay Lal. Plus he's a young guy. If he can put it together we might have something.

We are talking about fielding 3 WRs with sub 4.4 speed. How does that compare with Plax and Mason last year when we couldn't pass the ball between the 20's because no one was open. At a minimum, Sparano will find ways to isolate Holmes and Keller in 1-on-1 match-ups by stretching the defense. This will open up the running game as Defenses will be forced to not stack the box.

I have compete confidence in Sparano, much more so than I did with Schotty, that we will field a better offense and reduce the turnovers. Recall, we eliminate some of the turnovers we would have won more games (i.e. Broncos).

I'm not expecting much unless he suddenly gets kryptonite. He's guaranteed $500,000 so its not a big deal in NFL money if he's on the bench doing what he's been doing..
