    In consecutive weeks, we allowed:

    127
    153
    151
    142
    119

before Jenkins got hurt. We were allowing 4.4 ypc on the ground. We only allowed 100 yards rushing 3 times after Pouha took over.

Remember when Pouha wasn't on the field for the first half of the drive at the end of the first Patriots game, when they ran it right down our throats? They saw Pouha and Devito on the sideline and ran a no-huddle rushing attack.

Pouha didn't play against the Eagles last year and we allowed 160 yards in that game.

The only time we've really been gashed on the ground with Pouha was the game against the Raiders, and almost all of those yards were allowed on the outside, where we couldn't set the edge or tackle McFadden.
    ... Excellent post ...

Pouha's been upgraded to questionable and might play tomorrow, according to Mehta. Despite what some of the posters here say, we could really use him. Buffalo's got a strong running game.

Jenkins was more dynamic, but Pouha and Devito were so fundamentally sound that we didn't miss a beat when Jenks went down. The pass rush might have taken a bit of a hit though. Hopefully Ellis will bring that element back to the position. Any passrush you get out of a Nose is a bonus.
And it's not just the pass rush FROM the NT/DT himself.

Jenks helped the pass rush because he occupied 2 guys on just about every snap, which freed up someone else to rush.

Anyone think we didn't miss Pouha today?

No, how did we miss him?

Are you talking about the busted plays by Spiller? Weren't they to the outside? I could be wrong, maybe it was because Pouha was out.
