Would be shock move, but they should cut Tebow

    Would serve a few purposes:

    1) Ultimate vote of confidence for Sanchez and rewards one of the best throwing games of his career

    2) Would scrap Wildcat, which seemed very limited today and overall is not used by any great offense in the NFL

    3) Would allow more focus on a promising conventional passing game going forward

    4) Would end Tebow circus

I would do it. Tannenbaum won't, but he should...

Let's not jump to concussions- it's only been one game.

No. The Tebow thing is going to be fine.

I honestly am starting to think Tebow can only help as far as football is related.

The off the field media focus is a different story though.

Better yet, just cut down on the Wildcat. Only use Tebow on short-yardage, goal line situations and let Sanchez handle the rest.

Not as stupid as wanting him to be the starting QB though

Even that can help, seeing as they key on on him instead of everyone else. Probably takes some of the pressure off. Complete opposite of the first 3 seasons under Rex.

    A perfect example of "Fan-Based Madden 2013 GM'ing"

Right, lets cut our #2 QB, Wildcat Specialist, Fake-Punt Threat and Running Game addition, and no worries about the 4th it cost to get him, lets cut him!

To soothe an ego that in no way appears to need such kid-gloves treatement.

    Fans ftl.

Or let Sanchez finish the drive he started and get the points. And not disrupt the real QB's rhythm. This co-QB business is for the birds. Even if Tebow does look like he idolized Sanchez on the sidelines. Weird dynamic going on there.

Not a fan of tebow the QB.

But he can be useful if the jets use him in certain situations. short yardage, goal line and at some point let him throw out of the shot gun.

    Sanchez played great today

The guy isn't a QB, and runs about as well as a fullback. Waste of a roster spot. I know Tannenbaum would never do it because he made the splash bringing Tebow in. It was as bad of a move when it happened as it is now

We haven't seen the full Tebow package yet. I image we'll see more next game. lets just wait an see.

right, because the offense was really out of sync today.

I see where you're coming from, but you can't make this move while Tebow is still the "phenomenon" (vomit) that he is right now. Teams are going to think that Tebow will be a difference-maker, and that will force them to gameplan for him each week. If that leads to 8-in-the-box like we saw today and defenses that are consistently looking in the backfield while Sanchez is hitting his guys 20 yards behind them, Tebow can stay.

Only when teams stop caring about Tebow and the camera is no longer on him should he be sent packing. Besides, as others have said, Sanchez looked okay with the rotation today.

Would a stupid thing to say.

"hey, the offense was incredibly effective today... better change it"

Whatever Sporano's got going on with Sanchez and Tebow - it's working.

    Great game! Loved it.

Tebow is the backiup....why cut him? Should all teams cut their backups? Don't understand the logic.

Not being inside the locker room, we don't know what effect Tebow has on it (one of the things many pundits talked about when Tebow was signed), we don't know what effect Tebow's presence has on Sanchez (possible motivation, which is another thing that pundits discussed).

Additionally, we haven't seen much of the WC or what Sparano intends to do with it. The offense looked fine today, but next week might be a different story.

With all that in mind, did you have some valid reason to even think about cutting Tebow, other than the fact that you apparently don't like the amount of publicity he generates ?
