Anyone else digging for something to paranoid about?

It was spiller. That guy is going to burn any defense. I think the better question is how do we keep the team's head in the game when they go up by 30. that was more of concern.

This. Take away those two big runs (one of which was facilitated by a blatant hold at the PoA) and no one is even mentioning this "problem".

The defense must develop a killer instinct. The Jets failed to show that on defense with the big lead. The offense did though. Sparano willed that team to victory along with Sanchez and Hill/Kerley/Holmes.

Certainly the CS should put the defense through some tackling drills this week. That first Buffalo touchdown was 3 terrible, half a$$ tackle attempts. Other than that, I do not have any concerns about their ability to stop the running game. ZERO.

Maybe that Pouha guy is actually pretty good.

I see the Pats spreading us out and running Ridley down our throats. Our LBs are too slow.

    Not really

CJ Spiller is just a really talented dude.

Outside of those two runs we held it down.

IIRC there was one personal foul from Q. Coples that wasn't really neccessary. -15 Yards and the Bills scored a TD. That was an invitation. There was another PF in the preseason game vs. the Eagles where he acted similar. That's a point he can work on.

But after this game... yeah nitpicking.

I see Davis replacing Scott sooner rather than later

    Pouha's return will be welcomed

Rex is probably fuming about this deep down, although he has to be very pleased with the pass D's ability to force turnovers

Spiller bounced runs outside constantly, pouha the jag wouldn't help with that. We game planned for Taylor, and weren't ready for spilled. If you remember Oakland game last year we struggle against fast shifty backs.

    +1 on both.

FJax was shut down before he was literally shut down. Can't forget that.

I really don't think it will be a recurring problem this year.

+1. I am not going to get upset over how the defense plays after they have a 31 point lead in the 2nd half.

Not every game the opposing QB gift wraps 3 INTs for you. You have to finish tackles. We have been weak in tackling for sometime now.

can't get too high or too low, especially from week one. jets showed a lot to get excited about, but some things also to be concerned about. also, have to consider a rough schedule over the next month+. how we do against pittsburgh, san francisco, houston and new england will tell a lot about where this team is at.
