    Bart Scott rules

    Saw this on twitter:

    janesports Jane McManus
Bart Scott to reporters: "I'm not talking to you guys because you treat us like a f@:!% joke." #NFL #Jets
Love that he's always been the player to call out the media for the *******s they are.

    "Can't Wait!"

Love that...Bart is like Bryan Cox with less filters.

From what I saw today he played really bad. Really hoping Davis takes over during the season.

    Scott post-game with Sal Pal.

I love the "us vs. them" mentality. Read a tweet that Rex addressed the team prior to the game regarding the media's perception of them as "clowns." Sounds like they're just about fed up. Also sounds like all of the negativity has worked to bring them closer.

I can see that. Rex to Tanny: "So who are we going to get to tell Bart he's benched. How about that new kid in PR?"

Yup. Bart's a great guy, love his attitude, but he's just too slow.

Interesting comparison to Bryan Cox. I think it's an open question who is the better player . . . right now.

As a Patriots fan and a long-time Scott hater, I can only hope that he stays on the field as long as possible to increase the chances that he will embarrass himself on the field at a key time. I wish no ill will on the Jets generally, but this guy is one of my least favorite players in NFL history.

Edit: Just watched the video, and credit where credit's due -- it's a great interview.

Maybe he can be some kind of coach?

If we can pay him like a coach and not an elite LB...

The media can gargle the Jets balls.

This season is Scott's last. Not for the Jets but in the NFL. And he's only playing this year because his contract was guaranteed.

I'll bet Rex has him on the field in passing situations less and less as the season wears on. Tape doesn't lie.

Until he stepped on Revis' head.

Dear Bart: Can't WAIT (for you to learn how to tackle).

I love his attitude, just wish he was holding a clipboard during the game and not wearing a helmet.

Bart's not coaching. He;s going right to the booth. My God, he hangs out at the Zegna store on Fifth Avenue on Tuesdays drinking Perrier and picking out fabrics for his new clothes! Bart would be a lot better than that guy on CBS who talks like he has marbles in his mouth! What's his name, Shannon Sharpe?
