OFFICIAL remaining week 1 games thread

Packers fans have to be distressed quite a bit for what basically looks like a repeat of the playoff loss to the Giants so far. D still has major problems getting off the field and defending the pass. They can't run the ball. 49ers are taking away the deep passes and forcing Rodgers to beat them 8 yards at a time against a good pass rush

What happened to Clay Matthews? He has been virtually nonexistent since his breakout year.

I don't know. Packers D has been bad. Everything that went wrong for them in the loss for the Giants is still there. I had them going to the SB, may need to re-think that prediction, as good as Rodgers is he cannot do it alone

Niners rush D is impenetrable. Their front 7 has no weakness that I can tell

I love the 49ers defense. Can you imagine Revis on this defense? Sick.

RGIII powers the Redskins over the Saints. Who would have predicted that ?

That's probably the only game this weekend that is more shocking than ours.

McCarthy seems content with the loss. Punted twice now in Niners territory on 4th and somewhat manageable. He's trusting his D? I guess he watches a different D than I have...
