I never cease to be amazed by what causes a concussion and what does not cause one. So many helmet to helmet collisions without a diagnosed concussion but a kick or knee to the helmet causes them all the time.

Given his contract situation, I expect him not to rush things.

    Thanks Bart.

Rex Ryan says he will lean on trainers/doctors to determine if Revis will play vs Steelers

    Thanks Bart.
I think Revis was the only guy Bart hit all day.

diagnosed is the key word. I'm guessing 75% of concussions go undiagnosed.

That would be funny if not for the concussion.

    Wow, this would hurt us.

I forget what former player said it, but someone was asked about the new "definition" of what is a concussion and the player said by these standards he has had hundreds of them.

Good think the league is getting better with this. Hopefully revis' is mild and he will be ok for next week.

I doubt he'll play. Even the most minor concussion will be taken seriously. Crap, here comes Brown and Wallace.

I felt this was coming based on what it seemed when he left the game. Really put a damper on yesterday for me. I was hoping those manish tweets from yesterday were accurate when they claimed he was OK

Really need him against the Steelers to help slow down Wallace and Brown. This is not good.

Agreed. As much as the Jets need him, I don't see them rushing him for a non-division road game right at the start of the season.

Sucks. Sucks big-time. If Kyle Wilson goes as #2 - then who goes into the slot? I assume it would be Lankster - who actually played pretty well yesterday.

What is the consensus on how Wilson did yesterday? The INT was nice of course but I had too much going on in the house to play close attention - did he show up for the whole game?

This will be a good test to see how our defense will look once we trade Revis this off season

I hate the "C" word. especially used in the same sentence with our best player. the Jets are going to err on the side of caution and Revis certainly will. I understand it's the Steelers and it's a big week, but it is only week 2, no need to rush it. Those Steelers WRs scare me but their OL is brutal. need to dial up the pressure this week, x3 if Revis is out
