Their forums are hilarious right now, lol.

I take this as a compliment.

    Translation:

    "They kicked our ass."

Fellas, the team executed. From the o-line and their assignments, the route running of the WRs, the QB play, everything. The Jets coaches had everyone ready.

    Buffalo, not so much.

I don't know why people are taking offense to Fitzpatrick's comments.

This is actually what I expected with two new safeties on the back end. Simplify things to avoid blown coverages.

We didn't need the smoke and mirrors, we just outplayed them. Execution is always the most important thing. You can simplify the scheme as long as the execution is good.

Of course our new offense is going to look "vanilla" compared to our old Schottenheimer's make 10 pre-snap motions and throw it 3 yards complicated offense.

It really is remarkable what a difference there is on O this year.

“They put in a tackle as a tight end, they even blocked with him on play-action passes, which we didn’t think they would do, but it’s something you have to adjust to,” Bills defensive end Mario Williams said.
What a concept! Put in a heavy package and run play-action...

Buffalo must have been shocked that they couldn't predict the play based on our formation... But they could only look at Shotty film apparently...

Three INT's vs. the vanilla defense? Looking forward to Week 17 when, if the Jets are in the playoff hunt, the defense will be more "exotic".

That's because 6 seasons of Sh!tty Ball, that only confused the Jets. He was like WTF?

Bills should not have cut Vince Young. He has more upside than Fitzpatrick.

Yup. Amazing what can happen when you have an OC that isn't keeping you in an invisible 10 yard box, and running the ball on 3rd and long.

Sparano > Schotty, and it's not even close.

    +1

Replacing the inept Schotty with someone has a clue like Sparano has so far been huge for us. For the first time in years (probably since Parcells era) we have a balanced and effective offense and, for once, the opposing defense doesn't know exactly WTF we're going to do every play.

It is good that Rex did not have to run all kinds of tricks and stunts to get pressure on the QB. This is a much better model and will make those stunts much more effective later in the year when we really need them.

No joke. What's funny was the talk from Miami fans about how Sparano is Captain Fieldgoal and whatnot, then in our first game we score 4 Touchdowns on Offense alone.

I really hope we can continue to get pressure rushing 4 and save those blitzes for when we really need them

I am shocked, SHOCKED about that statement. We were running and talking about Hunter and Smith playing as our jumbo TE all preseason. the fact that BUF was so surprised and unprepared for it really makes me question their coaching. Who is their DC?
