Or 1-0 in the last regular season meeting in Pitt.

Which is more relevant that the other regular season games

I like guarantees by the other team. Means about as much as Rex saying we would win the Bowl last 2 seasons.

I think Jets are 1-12 lifetime as a franchize. Having never beaten Either Philly or Pit until 2010 when we squeeked out a win.

I think we loose, but we always seem to play Pit tough. Should be a good game.

What relevance does a game played two years ago have on Sunday's game?

Read the thread dude, Jets have beat the Steelers multiple times in the 2000's.

Thanks for the link but the only record I care about is the recent meetings. 1-1 counting the AFC game, and both were hard fought battles. I expect no less on Sunday

Ya - jeez - I said 'since' Patsfan. Was there a victory of our 8 last year that would be greater than beating PIT on Sunday? My whole point IS that as early as it is, this is an important game.

And I totally disagree about the 'no shockwave'. Pundits had us in the gutter; had the Bills above us even in the AFC East. I am sure the NFL shows won't have us picked to win this game - for the same old tired reasons 'it's Pit, at home, they never go 0-2, Jets aren't for real' etc.

So when everyone - including fans - is counting you out and you go out and win - that's upsetting the apple cart. The same way the Skins jumped up all over the place after beating the Saints in their building.

If you can remember them, that's a good thing. That means have been holding their own recently

It's still a Class Franchise going up against a Circus Franchise, don't you agree?

Nah, I look at it as a superior team going up against an inferior team.

Well, I don't trust your assessment [li]abilities after picking the Bills to beat us - what was it - 38-3?

Luckily trolling abilities are still intact.

What would your message be to the masses at Steelers Insider about their upcoming matchup against the Jets?

I like the Jets' chances in this one. The Jets DL match up very favourably with the Pitt OL. Mayhem will have more than his fair share of chances to kickstart his sack tally with a vulnerable Roethlisberger.

Hill matches up well with the Pitt CB's. The victory resides mostly with Sanchez/ Sparano and how well they utilise the Jets' weapons to attack the Steelers' weaker secondary esp CBs and judiciously use the run game to control the ebb and flow of the game and possession of the pigskin. The OL has its work cut out for it.

A victory in PIT would be the biggest win since the NE playoff game.
