In the tradition of Pittsburgh ... We are going Primanti sandwiches with some good ol' PBR !

That's right coleslaw and fries on top of the meat of your choice, all on a sandwich .... I'm thinking cheesesteak.

Ps... I know iron city is more Pittsburgh

Here is our gameday menu in the lot:

    • Grilled Taylor ham and cheese sandwiches
    • Our TGJ Lot Burgers, using LaFrieda beef, the best burgers made from "NYC's Butcher"
    • Sausage and peppers, using Esposito’s sausage, the best pork store in NYC
    • Grilled Polish sausage
    • Hot Dogs and Joe’s Award winning chili, using Nathan’s 1/4 dogs
    • Fresh filled on the spot cannoli
    • Kelso Pilsner
    • Miller Lite
The ham&cheese sounds delicious. How do you guys put that together? Is it like a traditional grilled cheese w/ ham or is it just the ham that's cooked?

    Traditional

Typically I try to find the other team's tailgate recipes so I get something new/different each week - THis week it was Primarti's or Rothlessburgers - Either way I wasn't feeling it because they had ribs on sale at my butcher

    So:

    Smoked Ribs
(honey, garlic, borwn sugar, paprika, garlic powder) with a traditional st. Louis style BBQ sauce - These went on at 7am, will get pulled around noon and reheated on the BBQ right before gametime (I have to squeeze in my nephew's Birthday lunch before the game - see pics)

    and

    Nachos+Cheese+Guac

...and beer of course (today there is 24 cold MGD in the beer fridge)

Grilling some wings with a garlic pepper based rub, and homemade wing sauce. Ill throw some corn on the cob on there as well and of course wash it all down with some cold beers in a frosted pint glass.

Im glad the game is at 4 so it gives me something to do during the 1 pm Bucs/Giants game and not worry about missing anything good!

Lets hope the offense can find more success and make up for losing Revis this week...

    J-E-T-S......

I forgot I'm doing corn on the cob in husk on the BBQ as well. lol , its still corn season in souther Ontario, so its like a given, basically every time I've fired up the BBQ for the last month and a half there are at least 1/2 dozen cobs on there. lol i love that ****.
