    Worried about media frenzy

Folks, there is already a media frenzy buzz circulating around the QB. Sanchez took a colossal beating today, but media is just focusing on stats and already introducing need for more Tebow. It does not help that Santonio Holmes was reportedly screaming at Sanchez again in the huddle today (reported on Sirius radio- haven't seen other mention of this). Media is gonna be on a witch hunt. The post, Mike F and others at 666 WFAN, Russo-some, Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith also will be on us and Rex. We hopefully can bounce back from this and shield Sanchez from criticism - a lot unfair to him. I would like to see some support on the local airwaves with calls in to Feancessa and Craig and Boomer supporting Sanchez. This is the kind of weak that Rex needs to prove his worth as a coach. We are headed into Miami who is better than we expect (although we should low them out) and some in the media may even be on their jock. We need to stem the media frenzy. They want fan unrest to fuel their agendas.

Solution: Don't watch espn or nfl network this week.

    Simple stuff, really.

This may actually work in the Jets' favor.

Like masochists, the Jets seem to react to adversity and crisis more than stability and success.

And how the **** do we stop that?

We're Jets fans, unrest is our middle name. Losing just makes it worse.
They made their bed, they can ****ing lie in it.

Then fans should be smarter than the media. Its about time that the fans take responsibility for their own actions and not be influenced.

Um, how much worse can it get?

The media doesn't really bother me.

And when you think about it, he didn't really lose the game for the Jets. He didn't throw any picks or turn the ball over.

Even simpler: stop being SOJF who make the 2012'ers building shelters in the Swiss Alps look rational.

The media stirs the pot with the Jets partly because Jets fans are so manic-depressive about the team.

There should have been more Tebow. Sanchez was clearly affected by the hit and Tebow was effective when in. A nice mix to make the Steelers think before reacting would have been beneficial to the team. Still be above the fray and realise that they're payed to talk out their ass then get ready for football next week.

Exactly. And I have no idea why considering the other teams in the NFL that haven't even won a Super Bowl (Vikings, Browns, Lions etc.) and their fans don't get so much vitriol worked up.

I think it's going to make for an entertaining week

    +1

This was my point. We as Jets fans make it worse on our team by being so irrational and going from thinking we are gonna win a SB to being winless. We unfortunately tend to feed the frenzy. I'd like us to be more rational especially when calling into local 660 WFAN shows. *******s like Craig Carton and Mike Francessa are licking their chops on riling us up. Don't take the bait.

Why unfair to him? Sanchez was as bad as an NFL QB could be today? It was just awful. don't have Hunter to blame anymore. He clearly had the time but couldn't make a play.

... sanchez can't catch the ball himself ... tell santonio to hold onto the ball before he opens his mouth ...

(F the media while you're at it ... who gives a F*ck what they are saying? ... they've been trying to start a qb controversy since we got tebow ... tebow s*cks at throwing the ball ... only an idiot would actually want him as a full time starting qb )

He completed less than 30% of his passes following the opening drive ... That pretty much ****s the bed.
