Dude can't unwind? I never understood the beef with this picture.
The fact that he has no character.

It's not surprising that he didn't 'own' any of the dropped passes he made, just kept talking about the great job Pittsburgh did
    My thoughts eactly

Add the fact the media is going to go after Holmes any chance they get, Holmes is basically giving THEM the finger, not the team or his teammates.

I dont know Ray, then why even do the interview? No one forces him to do one. It only adds to the ****ty reputation he has and gives the media even more crap to write about. He should have just took a shower, got dressed and got on the plane.

Does anyone have any illusions that SH is a good guy or a good sport? He's a very talented prima donna receiver who will be praised if the Jets do well and blamed if we lose. He'll be the hero if we win and the problem if we lose. Get it?

I think what Sanchez was doing was just deflecting answers to questions to Sparano. My impression is that Sparano is always telling Sanchez not to take everything on his shoulders, and Sanchez is taking him up on his advice.
In the past in postgame interviews, he would take full responsibility for everything in a loss and now he is being told he doesn't have to do that. It did sound funny and I don't think he should do this often, it sure as hell pissed Adam Schein off on SNY

Jerry Rice ran hills in the offseason. Holmes drinks $900 champagna in his.

If you don't see a problem with him chugging this and tweeting it after getting his contract, then I don't know what to tell you

Holmes dropped a few that he should have had, but he was getting mugged all game......The refs called Pass Interference one time where it shouldn't have been (When the fans were pissed), but should have called it on a defender guarding Holmes about 3 other times

We all know about Santonio, he's got some diva in him, he's not the nicest person in the world, yada yada.....But he definitely plays tough and wants to win

He is also the only player to actually score a TD today......NO ONE else stepped up and made a play

So he celebrated, big deal. Didn't you celebrate when those bumps in your ass turned out not to be herpes. Or when that 12 year old girl next door promised to stop beating you mercilessly.

+1 and let's add to that when you trade for damaged goods there is usually a good reason the other teams wants to make that deal.

So Jerry Rice trained everyday, every minute he wasn't in front of the cameras playing football. You can't be that naive. Bless your heart.

Braylon Edwards was always the guy that Mark Sanchez had the most chemistry with besides Cotchery. I thought Holmes took advantage of having Braylon Edwards on the other side and that is why he looked good in his first season here.

Tanny's mistake was not understanding that all three of them were needed to create the mismatches that came to be very often in 2010. Letting Braylon and Cotch walk were huge mistakes.

Now it's a mess. Maybe some day Hill will provide what is needed on the other side for Holmes to play his best, But right now it simply isn't working against good defenses. Kerley is still too young and immature.

It's not the celebrating. It's the tweeting out a picture of yourself celebrating. If someone else had taken it and tweeted it out without his knowlege, that would be one thing. But for him to proudly tweet it out to the public shows an attention-seeking, me first attitude. You seem to have that in common with him, so I can see how you wouldn't be able to see anything wrong with it.

What about him supposedly yelling at Sanchez in the huddle as they said on Sirius, did anyone hear more about that?

No he wasn't. Holmes was a Rex move not tanny.

    His response?

    No.

Why should he take the rook to the side and make a big deal of it? If it is just one game and some douche took me aside and made a big deal of it I'd likely be pissed. It is one thing if Hill is pining about it but I don't see why Holmes should be compelled to talk to him. That is just a ****ty question IMO because even if he planned on doing it he should never make light of it. So of course he would say no.

A Braylon on ONE GOOD KNEE >>>>>> Holmes on two good ones.

    I'd rather have a gimp than a whiny-ass baby....
