You're right, if i only have to think back to four years ago when we traded away the 2004 Defensive Rookie of the Year and alternate 2006 pro-bowler for a 4th and 3rd round draft pick, it's a sad day in fandom.

Like I said, Tannenbaum traded Jonathan Vilma

Mangini drove me nuts as a coach, he obviously knew how to assemble a team though. Which wasn't his job

And Heath Miller smoked Harris yesterday

But excellent point that the Jets did miss Heath. I wasn't blaming Tanny for that....you can't blame him for missing picks anymore, he trades them away

He traded Vilma because he didn't fit Mangini's 3-4 D

That play was irritating. Sanchez made the right play in a tight spot.

And coming to this site and seeing threads discussing firing the HC and GM, after we go 1-1 to open the season is like banging your head against the wall.

We have a Hatian lineman, a saftey from Boise, the Terminator and the league if FULL of players we could have had if we didnt trade away picks like bubble gum.

This team treats 5th rounders and after like throw aways.

Cumberland hasn't shown anyone anything yet. I don't get the hype around him, one of Tannys GREAT UDFA.

    GREAT UDFA's?? Tanny?

We cant get half of our picks in uniform let alone UDFA's.

It's all based on potential, not production.

    You are a moron

Did Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman run for over 150 yards yesterday on us and they're not even starters?

But our backups don't even know when they're the hot routes on obvious blitzing situations?

    Great depth we've got

The discussion of Tanny's job security has predated this 1-1 start so you are being more than a little disingenuous with that comment. He has been in this job for seven years. How many decades exactly before it is OK to talk about his record?

No one on the roster is going to be on Revis' level obviously. But there's several young players that could be as good or better than D'Brick, Harris, etc. Hill, Kerley, Wilkerson, Ellis, Coples. These guys are going to have long productive careers.

    Dwyer 28 yards + Redman 25 yards = 150????

Those backups did well, and that was against Tanny’s awful picks on our line….imagine what they would do against a defense drafted by a genius GM and run by jon gruden.
