50/50 odds, theirs still a chance.

If he is not cleared by Wednesday, then most likely he will be out. Why chance it. From what I've been reading on this message board we should kill the phins, or maybe it was more severe than they are saying. Who knows? A good coach can find a way to win without their best player, or can he?

current reports from WFAN interviews today are not encouraging. sounds like the injury is worse than reported or diagnosed so far. the secondary need to step the heck up because our offense needs the D and spcl teams to keep us in these games.

Hopefully the Jets do sit Revis for one more game. If they can't beat the Fins without him then this is going to be a longer season than we all thought.

Revis at 100% for the 9ers and Texans is far more important than a foggy Revis against a receiver-less team with the potential for greater injury.

Should we beat them, absolutely, but this is a division game and the dolphins are coming off a big enough win to have the type of confidence to win a game at home.

Their defense is playing, especially against the run, which considering greene's ineptitude might be a good thing. We can work max protect and try to throw the ball agaisnt their weak secondary.

Offensively they have nothing that scares anyone in terms of WR or QB, but they run a lot of stretch plays with bush which have absolutely killed us the past couple years. I sincerely hope Rex is working on tackling and stretch run defense all week.

Should we win, absolutely, but if Revis is ok, we need to ensure we get this W bofore facing 2 tough teams.

Missing 2 weeks seems like a long time for what was said to be a mild concussion....

Exactly... all he has to say is he feel foggy and will remain on the sideline. Just hope it is not the contract ploy.... missing multiple games due to concussion may end up backfiring at the table talking extension...

I REALLY doubt this is any ploy.

Unfortunately, concussions can take an indeterminate amount of time to resolve - regardless of severity. So - there is no way to tell.

I still laugh at the fact that there's such a thing as a "mild" brain injury.

That said, it's one of those things for which you can't set a timetable, since it impacts every person differently.

Revis can drag this on as long as he wants to since the tests are all based on his answering questions and reacting. If he wants to milk the injury, he can. The fact that e wasn't cleared after a week was a red flag, the fact that he hasn't been cleared after a week and a half scares the crap out of me, an not because he might have a bad wad injury. Shonn Greene and Sanchez took bigger hits to the head vs. PITT than Revis getting kicked, no way he should have missed a week, let alone 2.

Greene was seen staggering on the field after his collision, how do you think he was able to get back out on the field after that? Why aren't we hearing about Greene missing this weeks game? I'll tell you why, it's because he wanted to get back in the game, not sure stevia does.

There is a big difference between getting hit when you are expecting contact - where the body instinctively 'turtles' the head and getting hit when unaware. Getting hit in the back of the head is also a different wrinkle than getting hit from the front.

It's frustrating as hell - but all we can do is wait. Do you really think Revis wants to see the Jets start to tank their season? So he can play out the string of meaningless games - and see the locker-room come apart?
