Scott threatened to punch Leberfeld, who said, “Yeah, and I’ll sue you!” Scott responded: “I don’t care!”
Ah the old "I'll sue you line".....reserved the biggest p^ssies of all

He does. He is just too old and slow for it to make a difference.

Is anybody familiar with who controls what media is allowed in the locker room? Does the NFL control that or the Jets?

Jets should be allowed to have some of these bloggers banned. IMO there should be no media in the locker room ever. There should be a separate place where players who want to speak can speak.

Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson was not present at Jets practice during the portion open to the media today.

He was excused from practice today for personal reasons, the team said.

As for the notable injured players, Darrelle Revis (concussion) appeared to be a full participant along with Eric Smith (hip/knee).

OLB Bryan Thomas (hamstring), FB John Conner (knee), TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) and DB Ellis Lankster (back) were in the rehab group off to the side.

Revis said Thursday that he would play for sure, while Ryan remains hopeful for Keller.

I think this may have played a part. From Leberfeld's website. The bolded part.

Extra! Extra! New JC Mag out – you don’t want to miss it! 09.21.12
There is so much good stuff in the newest issue of Jets Confidential Magazine, you won’t be able to put it down.

We have eight pages of Jets Whispers. We aren’t kidding.

We also expose Bart’s friend who started the “circus” talk. It wasn’t the media, it was Bart’s friend.

    And so much more.

Pick it up on a Tri-State area newstand before they are all gone.

Or subscribe to the magazine by calling 1-800-932-4557 (M-F, 9-5) or you can subscribe on the his website.

You aren’t going to read this stuff anywhere else!
    IMO blatant trolling.

Although Leberfeld has toned it down this year, anyone who watches the press conferences know he's always trying to incite the coach into some B.S. exchange.

He's a first class douche... And his douchiness is the reason I stopped subscribing to JC years ago.

Fridays are usually the quietest day of the week for NFL teams. Except the Jets, it seems.

Scott threatened to punch Leberfeld, who said, “Yeah, and I’ll sue you!” Scott responded: “I don’t care!”

Incident triggered by Leberfeld taking a phone pic of Scott, who responded by telling him to “get a life.” Threats & puffed chests ensued.

Jets PR guy Bruce Speight stepped in front of Scott. Only thing that seemed to prevent fisticuffs.

Bart Scott just had to be separated from reporter Dan Leberfeld in the locker room. Bizarre scene.

    they're the realists.

they're the ones telling us we would be lucky to beat Buffalo at home and that there was no way in hell we would beat Pittsburgh on the road.

so we're 1-1, right where the realists expected us to be (if we were lucky).

but somehow we still suck, now more than ever.

Bryan Thomas and John Conner are doubtful, Rex says.

Bryan Thomas & John Conner are doubtful. Dustin Keller is questionable after not practicing today.

Rex Ryan will reevaluate Dustin Keller (hammy) & 4th CB Ellis Lankster tomorrow. Both are listed as questionable. I doubt Keller plays

'Realists' look good when things turn out to sort-of match their expectations. But they're actually defeatists to start with.

    Lucky to beat Buffalo??

That would have been Scotts best hit of his career.

Any word on Sapp and how is he doing. You would think he had a torn ACL the way is still injured.

It's funny people rip Bart but he's also been a big part of a defense who has been among the best in this franchise's pathetic history on defense.

Bart's made plenty of plays while he's been here. He had an off year last year but has been better than the guy next to him who gets paid much more. (Harris for those who can't figure it out)
