Copernicus celebrating Revis' injury almost made me flip. I am usually immune to the call of the Strip. I need a(nother) drink.

Just took a peek in the ravens/pats strip thread. One said "pats d is what we thought it is". Too bad it's enough to stop the Jets. Hell, a wet paper bag would stop the Jets.

Yeah you need to exploit their secondary... which we are just terrible at.

awful game, sloppy play, questionable coaching, Revis injury... and yet, we won.

foaming at the mouth, but the Jets won. lolza.
Exactly! In the end it was a win, but it was ugly, uncomfortable and embarrassing to get the result. Kinda like using this....

Yeah I saw that. I have a soft spot for SOJF's as I am one myself, but he is losing it.

I get it. He thinks the ownership/coaching isn't going to get us a superbowl. Maybe he's right, but to preach it after EVERY loss and EVERY ugly win is becoming ridiculous. All that said.. I've never said a word to him. You root for our best player to be hurt, though, and you get Carlton's wrath. Ugh.

I hear ya. Its very emotional. I'm not a nice guy when the game is on and I'm not alone, so I understand the range of emotions...but I dont believe for a second Cop really wished for Revis to get hurt....

Silly, because not one of these guys on the field gives a crap about us and they all know how fickle and stupid we can be. Makes one wonder why we invest emotionally in this year after year.

Can't argue with the latter. After every bad loss I tell myself I'm not going to let games ruin my Sundays anymore. The following week I'm yelling and throwing shoes at the TV again.

Did he mean it? I don't know. But you have to be an idiot to type it especially combined with all his other crap. Also, emotional after an away game division win? Because Rex laughed on the sideline? COMMON.

Where did Revis rehab his concussion last week?

    Good riddance

    Sick of his act

I agree, I was looking for another face to use, but I don't have cro-fire skills, my gifs library is an unorganized mess across 3 computers, 2 websites, and 2 external hard drives.

I need to find the perfect rage face for week#3 - any suggestions?

It's either 'are you ****ing kidding me' or 'me no gusta'

but I cant find one with a transparent background

    (first world problems)

copernicus is a self-righteous, and extremely unintelligent (check out his posts in the Politics Forum) sh!tbag. DBAKE was banned for quite a while for posting the same thing he did.

Anyway here's what I saw yesterday:

    1) Austin Howard struggled quite a bit against Cam Wake. Sanchez often was stepping up in the pocket (and screwed up his timing) because Wake was beating Howard around the edge.

    2) Sanchez needs to work on his accuracy on his deep passes. Despite our lack of playmakers on offense, there were at least three times where a receiver had two or three steps on his man downfield, and Sanchez overthrew them. Granted he hasn't thrown a long ball much in the last two years (thanks Schotty, you f*ck), but he needs to improve on that. If Sanchez hits on those plays, we're feeling a lot better about the win today.

    3) The D-Line was dominated by Miami's O-Line. Revis or no Revis, the D-Line MUST play better.

    4) David Harris looks slow. I don't know if that's because of the injury he suffered in Training Camp is still bugging him, or he just is regressing, but he isn't the same player he was in the past.

    5) Bart Scott played very well. He looks like a totally different player from last year.

    6) Rex needs to resume calling the defense. Every time he hands the reins to Pettine, the defense looks like sh!t. With Revis out (possibly all year) Rex needs to work his schemes more than ever.

    7) I hate the Dolphins with a passion, but their cheerleaders are insanely hot.
