Our pass rush is awesome so far

Our pass rush has been great through the first three games.

If we thought our pass rush was bad last year, how would we grade the pass rush so far this year?

    A) Atrocious
    B) Horrendous
    c) Non existent
    D) Horrid
    E) All of the above

    E.

Disappointed that Coples can't get in the game and Maybin has done nothing.

Same personnel on the D line as last year. What did you expect?

    No Ellis, No Coples...

The D has taken a large step backwards thus far in 2011, as a whole.

The loss (potentially) of Revis is huge.

The lack of any pass rush, almost equally so.

    Much room to improve....

On the bright side we should have a high draft pick again this year so we can take another Vernon Coples

The loss of Revis might be just what the dr ordered ... It will magnify the deficiencies rather than hide them.

We already knew coming into the season that Devito and Pouha don't provide a pass rush, and that has continued. Ellis and Coples should be getting more playing time, since it's not like those two really "stuffed the run" today either...

Any bad adjective you can attach to it. But it's not just the pass rush. They got pushed all over the field today. They couldn't seel the edges today and got the ball crammed down their throats.

By far and away the very biggest disappointment so far this season. I honestly believed, and many others did also, that the Jets front 7 would most normally own the LOS this season. They haven't won at the LOS in any game this season.

We should just drop 9 into coverage.... QB would have the same amount of time but we would have extra guys to cover...

Our entire defensive philosophy is pathetic...... Rex has never heard of zone coverage which is why we have so many PI calls... Enough already... Come up with something new REX....

Well with Revis out for the season (it looks like it might go that way), I expect they will get no sacks because when playing a team with a good QB and receivers, one will be open fairly quickly. The fact remains that the league has figured out the Ryan blitzes and that nobody on the current team can generate a consistent pass rush.

2 QB hits on 36 dropbacks is pathetic. Maybin's weight gain seems to have rendered him totally ineffective, Coples can't get on the field even though he was awesome in the preseason, and there is no one on this team who is good enough to create pressure on their own by simply beating their blockers.

    Funny, I said the same thing after the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 offseasons.
