Rip the guy all you want for the Revis comment, but this approach is unacceptable. You don't make these assertions about a person unless you have facts. Take your political "bent" elsewhere. Your comment is a ban-able offense in my book.

Guess some of us take child molestation more serious than others. (How about a rape riff?) Or consider those who disparage all public school teachers as trash as comically moronic.

You've GOT to be kidding me.

Insinuating someone could be a child molester is a little over the top.

Can we get this thread back on track and start discussing whether Revis' career is about to take the same turn as Jason Sehorn's?

Lost in all of this (and with the benefit of hindsight) is the great decision by Tanny and the FO to not redo the contract. As cruel as it sounds, the silver lining in this is that the Jets are in a much better position now if Revis' injury impacts his performance.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could come here in the morning, click into the last page of a Revis thread for an update, and see even ONE post about Revis?

Yup, his value has taken a little hit, BUT if the Jets defense sucks without him, then he will not lose that much money.

Going to be interesting to watch this play out. If he tore it and misses the rest of the year, how does he hold out for a new contract with 1 year left and how do the Jets handle it? Do they go the 'band-aid' route? Do they hold firm and make him prove his health and skills are still premier for his position?

When is the normal press conference time for Rex on Mondays.

I suspect we won't hear much until then.
