But I refuse to wear green colored glasses about the Jets this year. They are average.....aint gonna do any better than 8-8 in my opinion. But I am still gonna watch em every weekend!
I agree with being critical. It is something only a passionate fan would do. But the woe is me act from all the Jets fans on this site is getting ridiculous. Yes, we all tune in and we will continue to do so but expecting the worst from something you have no control over is no fun. I am expecting 9-7 this season but average teams have won the Superbowl before.

See NY Giants 2011 and NY Giants 2007. Apparently, getting hot at the right time is more important in the NFL these days than being a dominant regular season team (See Packers 2011 and Patriots 2007).

Exactly, other teams have talent is other places.

The Jets are now officially an impact playerless team.

What could I have been thinking?

People dont want to hear this, but with our pass rush, good QB's move the ball at will, Revis or not. Brady doesn't care about Revis. Revis covers one guy two if in zone coverage. Go find Gronk or now Winslow in the slot that our slow LB's cant cover. Or find the one on one with Cromartie.

One elite player at CB, while exciting to watch isn't going to make as much difference as most think without a good pass rush.
Hmmm...maybe that'll play to the Jets advantage, QB's will be too confused trying to decide which open receiver to throw to.....after a couple minutes one of our defensives players may get to them and possibly tackle them.
