Any Free Agents Of Note Out There That Can Be Brought In With Revis Injury?

Had read about former Raven Chris Carr being unsigned last week. Any thoughts?

we could use a 3rd/4th CB because Trufant isn't very good and if we get anymore injuries Joe McKnight might be in there

trufant is going to be exposed hard and fast. his lack of size is going to have opposing teams qbs feasting on him.

We have 3 first round picks in the secondary....that should be enough.

    Somehow I doubt it though.

The Jets had an interest in him last July:

The New York Jets and other teams are showing interest in Ravens free agent cornerback Chris Carr. Nothing happening fast, though.

    Chris Carr
(born April 30, 1983 in Reno, Nevada) is an American football cornerback, punt returner, and kick returner who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Boise State. Carr has played for the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings.

Chris Carr, Sage Rosenfels surprises among Vikings' final cuts

Veteran cornerback Chris Carr was by far the biggest surprise cut as the Vikings trimmed their active roster of 21 players to reach the 53-man roster by the 8 p.m. deadline.

Carr came to the Vikings from Baltimore and was working with the No. 1 nickel defense consistently through training camp and the preseason. There was speculation that he might eventually be elevated to a starting role so that 35-year-old Antoine Winfield could play only in the nickel.

Instead, the Vikings decided to keep these six corners: Winfield, Brandon Burton, Marcus Sherels, Chris Cook, Josh Robinson and Zack Bowman. Sherels' case was helped tremendously by his status as the No. 1 punt returner and Percy Harvin's primary backup at kickoff returner.

One of 'em needs to carry this and we'd be gold.

We need a CB, not a WR.
