Good point and I have said before we would miss LT alot this year. He has totally NOT been replaced. McKnight was supposed to be the 3rd down receiving back but he is persona non grata.

As to Cumberland I've been pretty disappointed in his play. I had hopes that he would turn into a solid player. Sadly that doesn't seem likely to happen at this point. If he doesn't increase his productivity on the field I can't see the Jets keeping him for long.
Brilliant, so now we have 2 guys that are the same, Gates and Hill!

Just finished the Jets tape from last week. Sanchez does remind me a little of Vick. Waits for WR/TEs to get open. Doesn't throw them open.

Well, wait a minute. Which Vick is he talking about? The Vick from this year or from the last two years?

And isn't throwing WRs open the West Coast Offense?

he does that mostly on crossing routes, i've noticed.

which is why his throws are often late/behind the receiver.

Rex says #Jets are "teaching" Joe McKnight to be a cornerback this week.

    Chris Nimbley ‏@Cnimbley
Rex says again McKnight will still have a role in the offense, but he will see a lot more work at corner in practice.

Great to hear that “the best squad Rex has coached” can’t rush the passer because they also can’t defend the run. Fabulous news.

People are mincing words. Rex said that it "could be" the best squad he's ever coached.

Interesting that Phil Simms, who's getting paid to commentate, actually agreed with Rex in how he handled the end of the half.

And despite this, he still has the highest winning percentage among Jets coaches.
