  1. #61
@judybattista: RT @SoftliSTL: NFLRA communicating with NFL that they agreed to sign the proposal, and a crew will work the Thursday night game CLE vs. BAL

  2. #62
@JasonLaCanfora: Deal between the NFL and locked out officials is imminent and would include language allowing regular refs to work Thursday night game

  3. #63
Wow. Didn't think they'd end up doing TNF...

nbc tv new york said the deal is done.

@willbrinson: Of course, maybe the hold up on the NFL-refs deal is Ed Hochuli refusing to agree to HGH testing.

@EricStangel: Any second now Skip Bayless is going to argue that the NFL replacement refs are better than the real ones...

@BlogAndTackle: Ed Hochuli needs to do the Ray Lewis dance coming through the tunnel in Baltimore tomorrow night.

Not sure what the big question mark was about Thursday..

The regular part time used car salesmen were already out of shape incompetent suffering from macular degeneration and fully paid up VIP members of patsfans.com...

In other words ready to start screwing up games and favoring their foxboro darlings without missing a beat

It just needed the Patriots to lose a second game. Thank you, Robert Kraft!

    Geezus. Give it a rest.

It might have been slightly amusing the first handful of posts, but 17,546 posts later, it is beyond nauseating.

It will be interesting to see how the coaches and players react to the real refs making a call against them.

I think there won't be any of the usual griping this week, but then it will get back to normal in a week or two.

I keep thinking this title says "REFS ARE BLACK!" so... anyway... carry on.

NFL announces ref assignment for tonight: Referee GENE STERATORE, umpire BILL SCHUSTER, head linesman WAYNE MACKIE, ...

2nd owner told me he believed ref deal "would've been done this week even if Monday night didn’t happen." But everyone acknowledges urgency.

From an NFLRA source: "They could have never taken scabs to Green Bay this weekend. Last night was THE deadline."

Oh well, it was nice having a fair NFL for 3 weeks, all it took was for the Pats and Packers to get upset and deal is done!

Get ready to see 10 holding calls and 10 PI calls but only for one team while the other teams plays perfect ball, ahh the old refs are back
