We are screwed if he plays. We don't get pressure on QBs with our front 7 and we need cover guys. It is unfair to but mcNight in this position.

Dont worry. He wont even see the field on Defense.

What a crappy ploy this was.

We are thin at wideout. Why do they not run some packages where he is in the slot?

In the backfield he could be used on screens

I just don't get the love affair this team has with Shonn Greene.
This is the same argument that's been going on for years. I asked the same thing about Thomas Jones when Leon washington was waiting in the wings.
This team just has a bad habit of keeping players on the field that make them happy, rather than put points on the board. Maybe these guys have a bad attitude in practice or something?

Kyle Wilson seemed to be pissed as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if McKnight ends up getting traded soon and we lose a Pro Bowl KR b.c of this nonsense.

    FIRE TANNY!!!

+1. Just another indictment of Tanny, the most overrated GM in sports. The Jets always seem to be scrambling and have no plan. Circus indeed. Forget drawing up contracts, it's time for him to find a new line of work. It was time in 2008.

When a player goes and tells the entire would via the NY Media that the coaching staff doesn't think he can play RB... well that's a problem IMO.

You might not think so, that's fine. You also have an opinion. I personally think this shows some player discord.

McKnight was drafted specifically to replace Leon Washington and learn for a year from Tomlinson.

3 years in and he's now a CB.

People arent pissed at the move...they're more pissed at another draft pick not working out.

    What exactly is the problem?

If a coaching staff doesn't think a player is performing, he is either gone or moved if that is an option. This happens every week in the NFL....

Rex said McKnight misunderstood defense assignment. Said he wants him to learn defense, but still has a role as an RB. #nyj

No..Rex's presser last Friday he said "we're prepared for miami" Paraphrasing that..

And watching the game I didn't see a team prepared for a NFL game.

    And what my signature says...

In what way were the Jets unprepared, what is your basis on this?
