lets continue to bash dustin keller and play with the mediocre tes that we have on the roster. meanwhile other teams are using two tight end formations and having success with it.

nope never said that. but he could bring some skill and depth to a position that desperately needs it if hes healthy.

    He can play cornerback.

What a stupid response. Keller is nursing a hamstring injury, Winslow is a veteran player who has bad knees.

Belicheck is such an idiot. Can't believe he signed that loser. Why don't they have any depth after they drafted like 1 million players over the last 5 years? He needs a GM that knows football.

the question is not whether Winslow is better than Keller.

it's whether he's better than Cumberland, Reuland and Epps.

and the answer is a resounding YES.

It's amazing how the same people who think the end of the world will happen if the Jets even considered signing Kellen Winslow are the same folks who want to trade draft picks for scrub backup Running Backs like Fred Jackson, Felix Jones and anyone who lines up in the New Orleans backfield like they would actually be anything in an offense that didn't have Drew Brees stretching the field.

Once Winslow saw the Pats went back to a Wes Welker-centric offense he knew he wasn't getting the opportunity he wanted in New England. Somehow Winslow is more of an injury risk than Glass Schilens and "Back2Back IR's" Cumberland? Ok.

    WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tanny was supposed to be fired for not picking him up and basically giving him to the Patriots. I mean, what is THAT about?

If I was a Patriot fan, I'd be calling for BB's head right now.

Yes! Let there be no doubt about it.

The guy asked to be released cause evidently the knee pain was too much for him.

And some posters mount the high horse and proclaim him in peak condition and the Jets should waste no time signing him. It's worse than the bring back Braylon fiasco

I don't get that. Why would anyone call for his head over that? It cost the Patriots 48k. I'm not sure what the big deal is. He wanted out, no problem. It's not like he was important to the Pats.

Let's recruit him. We need more soldiers.

Sarcasm to those that have called for Tanny's head every day for the past week since we beat Miami last week...but we didn't beat them well enough.

If Gronk and Hernadez don't represent adequate depth at TE what does that say about the Jets and their TE's?
