I don't care about wins and losses. What's really important is that our 3rd runningback might be getting a few snaps at nickel or dime

    +1

Despite my admittedly SOJF hangover from the last game ( I know, I know...we won) I have a child-like belief the loss of Revis will be a catylist for the D to step up, and the O to refocus....and for Rex to step up.

Yep I kind of alluded to this point in another thread, we have to keep things in perspective.

We are 2-1 ATOP the AFC East & 2-0 in the division, despite all the negativity that seems to be running wild around here in most of the other threads....

Maybe a big win this Sunday will quiet some of the critics....

Don't you understand this is already a pre-determined loss on our schedule?

No chance...we kicked Buffalo's tail in...that wasn't good enough because we lost to Pittsburgh, at Pittsburgh. Didn't you know that's as good as a win when the schedule was released...jeez

I'm ready!!! I also think we win Sunday. 19-17

One of my favorite seasons was Ray Lucas coming in and getting us to 8-8. Revis is a monster loss but now we can see what this team and coaches are made of. I'm excited about the challenge. I have higher hopes this season and even without Revis we can get to 10 wins.

    The season starts Sunday!

There's a reason why we're having trouble generating optimism around JI. You all know why.

Oh c'mon. Have we ever been on top of the division, handsomely above NE and NOT been wildy happy? Cause that's the temperature right now in Jet land.

    Why?

Cause we've played like jerk offs the last couple weeks. I don't care what the record says. You can't go slinging the kind of crap we have for any length of time in the NFL.

This team needs to get its poop in a group - real friggin fast.

    FIRST PLACE JETS!

Lets see how the team responds this week. I don't want to see a bunch of fumbling bumbling boners.

A: Didn't Bill Parcells say you are what your record says you are?

B: With Revis out, its going to be tough/next to impossible for the Jets to win anything substantial. As long as they play hard and stick together, I will be fine. the key is play hard. In 2007, we beat the Steelers at the Meadow lands with a 4-12 team. We played hard.

Bah - don't gimme that Tuna crap. After 12 games, sure. NOS are 0-3 and they'd thump us into the next galaxy right now.

But you captured my point. It doesn't matter that 2-1, 4-12. You gotta show up every sunday and play hard.

This team is not playing hard right now. They're hardly playing.
