Same. Not surprised though considering the venue.

I don't know how or why, but I love Nessler for College football, not so much for NFL. Mayock knows his stuff, but his voice and pace are very boring. There are much worse duo's out there, for sure.

Glad the majority are sane... OP and the first few posts had me scratching my head...

What time is the game on?

Mayock is a pleasure to listen to. No bias, no sensationalism, no agenda, just solid football analysis. He's the least offensive announcer in NFL. LMAO at the stupid posts in this thread.

    Mayock is the man.

I can't wait for the combine, pro days, and all of his draft analysis.

Have you heard Joe Buck call a game?

    Mayock is good.

I'd hope so, considering it's his, you know, profession and all.

Doesn't mean we have to like him or tolerate his lispy commentating.

    Thank you!

Mayock is good but Nessler makes me want to go to sleep. Too monotone.

Some people can't get past Mayock's lisp. That's all it is.

I've always liked Brad Nessler, but that may just be warm memories from the thousands of "NCAA Football" games I've played in my life.

    Nessler and Mayock are fine.

    I don't understand the outrage.

I like Mayock, and I think the play by play guy is pretty solid. This is by far the best team the NFL Network has put out there since they started broadcasting games. Bryant Gumbel, anyone?

What I like about Mayock is his insights are different from most color guys. He gives background on guys from when they were coming out of college. Of course, it has to do with him being such a college prospect expert, but it's still cool.

+1, The TNF crew does a good job and they let the game breathe. Unlike Collinsworth (who I also like, but suffocates the action on the field with too much analysis).

The TNF crew is a refreshing break from the SNF crew.

WOW... the irony here is on a Jim Carey level. Mayock's turned down offers from NFL teams to manage their scouting/personel departments. He's one of the top flight evaluators in the world.

.I do feel like Mayock gets too technical in the booth for casual viewer and thus losses his audience - but to challenge the man's ability to gauge the sport...

    Holy Fck.
