All it's going to do is get the guy who's putting it together on the local news.

Yep...I can see it now. After Jets are blown out in Houston. They'll be a banner flying over the next Jets home game...

"WE DESERVE BETTER! FIRE TANNENBAUM - BENCH SANCHEZ"

And soon will come another circle-jerk era.

I was going to do this here, but "There are lots of problems on this team and each needs to be addressed separately, starting with our D who can't stop a nosebleed, then continuing on to our O where there is a dearth of talent, our coaches need to take a hard look in the mirror and at the team they have and make a plan using their current talent, not some dreamed up scheme and finally to our QB who needs help" would not fit on a banner.

Never under estimate the media, they would eat their young if it meant a headline. Balls in their court.

The media would have a field day if this happened at a Jets game. Could you imagine the headlines? It would be the lead story on ESPN Sports Center

First off, great organization by the fans there. To the people saying "it wont do anything" does anyone except lamar hunt to come out and say, "I wasnt gonna make a change at GM or QB, but now that I saw the banner I will"? It just shows how upset the fans are which is good.

I was very surprised to see pioli's draft record...not a lot of hits there

It did happen during the Joe Walton era. I remember a banner flown over the stadium that read "If you put Walton's brain in a bird, it would fly backwards". Different day and age in regards to the media, but it did happen before.

I will start the donation with $50 for anything that flies over ye game that says "fire Tannenbaum" And "get a real GM" if anyone wants to step forward and set this up.

To me this is more important than the presidential election

Anyone remember back in the late 80s / early 90s when they used to fly the trojans condom banner over the stadium?

At the Giants/Cowboys season opener, there was a plane doing circles in the parking lot with a banner that said "Free Sean Peyton". It was there for a few hours. I think I saw mention of it in a Peter King piece or some other national column.

If that plane had some negative Jets related message, you can be sure that it would get picked up right quick by the local and then national media.

We got our tickets in 1991 I was 11 years old and I remember the "Ramsies condoms" ads flying around.
