Thread: That's why good coaches don't want to coach in NY

Here's what Rex can say now: "If you hit one of our players, we will put our tail between our legs Twice" what happened to being a physical team?
The Jets play like they are in the lengerie league.

I don't understand why people think changing head coaches every 4 years is going to make the organization better. That makes no sense. You need continuity and you can't jump ship just b/c we finished .500 one year and we're 2-2 this year. I can see firing Tannenbaum b/c he has done a sh*t job the past few years in regards to bringing in talent on both sides of the ball. But to move on from a coach who has done very well compared to the rest of the coaches in this league the past 3 1/4 years is dumb. Who do you want instead? Jon Gruden has coached 11 years in the NFL, 5 of them his record has been .500 or worse. Really? That's who you want?

The last 7 games under Rex are damning.

The Jets are 2-5 with 4 blowout losses, including 2 utter embarrassments.

The more the team became his, the worse it performed on the field.
No reason to read beyond this.

T'is true. The start of the current avalanche was the 3 game slide to end the season last year. The team kind of quit on Rex then. And now it's become almost embarrassing. The team has only achieved one half of good football in the last 7 games.
