The Man Who Should Take Over the Front Office

Hey Woody, If you give a damn about your football team you must know by know that it is run by clowns in the FO and Coaching Staff.

If you care about your fans, its time to clean house, top to bottom.
You can start by opening up the vault and hiring a real GM.

    This is your man:

I'd make this move in a heartbeat! Good choice.

Don't know him from anybody but I'm interested in learning more.

One question - What does it mean when you've been with the Ravens for 17 years but working in the NFL for only 15? That seems backwards to me.

That would be a great selection. Baltimore has been one of the most savvy drafting teams in the last two decades. We could use some of that magic.

And probably had a say in passing over Rex for Harbaugh. Not sure if he would want him as his coach. Most "worthy" GMs would like to pick their own coach.

Why would someone like this guy who is probably being groomed to take over in BAL come to this mess? We are aging, have no QB and little cap room. Not to mention the two best players are currently out with career threatening injuries.

Yea, I'd prefer to salvage Rex rather than toss him out. He's got some good qualities. The guy just has to start thinking like a HC and not like he's the world's greatest DC. Also he has to stop running his mouth so much.

    Absolutely no !

He did a horrible job with the Colts - basically drove them into the ground with a lack of talent and depth. Only Manning kept that team doing well for so long. Polian is NOT the answer.

When this season blows up (not if, when...like week 6?), I want to see the slate wiped clean. Anyone who was on board with the Tebow trade over trying to fill the real holes on offense has to go.

I am all for pilfering from successful franchises. Either target the Ravens or the Steelers. Any team that has sustained success is a team I want to see the Jets pick from.

This guy, plus Jay Gruden as hc plus the #1 pick in the draft.......

This would be the best scenario our franchise has had since Parcells came aboard in 97.

He has done well developing Dalton, I will say that. But Gruden only has a good track record for the last 2 years. There's not much more in the guy's resume. Arena Football League ???

The guy was being pursued for GM jobs last year by several teams including very hard by the Bears but Baltimore promoted him to Asst GM and made him one of the highest paid executives in football and promised him that if he stayed on as Ozzie Newsome's eventual replacement. They think very highly of him and dont want to lose him. That speaks volumes.

Prying him away from Baltimore will probably mean big time $$$$ and full control. Do it Woody!
