I'd take those guys over what we have now.

Yeah, i know, not much, but he was a good target for Sanchez a few years back.

I miss you Jerricho. Pour out a lil henney for you tonight..
    Jerricho wanted out.

Do we have to revisit this every week..

Uh, no thanks. Been there done that. It's time to go with youth and cultivate our own homegrown stars.

He wanted out because the Jets replaced him with a guy in Braylon Edwards who they only held onto for a 1 1/2 years. They then went to Plaxico who was a JAG.

But agree with you. This debate should be over. We are where we are. (Is that Yogi Berrism?)

What could it hurt. Throw a 6th round at them. I'm sure he is better than any WR on the roster now. It's not living in the past, it's called desperation. Anyone not on board with this is missing the point. It's not even an argument.

I'm all for it, but Tannenbaum and Rex are determined to not give Sanchez receivers he works well with.

Cotchery wanted out because the Jets got stupid and kept trying to replace him. If they had been smart, the offense would have been Edwards, Cotchery, and Kerley as the top 3 WRs, not the rag tag bunch we're stuck watching now. Trading for Holmes made Cotchery want out and Edwards was considered expendable because he was not as good as Holmes. Well, we see what Holmes and his talent does for the team. Maybe sometimes how well a guy works with the QB is more important than the most purely gifted athlete.

If that's the reason J-Co wanted out, then good riddance. In case he didn't notice, Braylon played just a tad better than he did. Yeah Cotch did make some key plays but if he expected to be anything more than a Slot receiver, then he was a fool indeed.

Although to be quite honest, jetstream, Wasn't it because of HOLMES that Cotch wanted out??

Ummm....I agree with you and all but :

    WHAT "homegrown stars"?

Hill has proven he's at least 2 Years away from being a competent WR.

Kerley is fine but Holmes is hurt and done for the year.

WE NEED BRAYLON BACK(since he's the only one the Jets could POSSIBLY have a shot of trading for at this point) because our offense is NON-EXISTANT, Period.
