The thing is, I bought that last week as at least a contributing factor. His leg isn't 100%, he's spending time with his baby mama, baby may have been born late on Saturnday night, perhaps he wasn't going to push it when he otherwise might. Or something of that nature.

But, that doesn't really account for this year. After the first day or two, I'm guessing he wasn't needed much at all - I know I went back to work 2-3 days after my boys were both born. Otherwise I would have just gotten in the way and my wife would be yelling at me.

The dude has some bucks - get a baby nurse and get back to practice. There is no reason in the world that he can't be ready to practice this week if he was a game time scratch last week. But, so far, he seems to be missing.

He was making a reference to someone who had said Holmes was faking an ACL injury (before we knew it was his foot and not his knee).

He quoted them almost verbatim, replacing "ACL" with "hamstring."

    That's why I chuckled.

I know! The whole MRI cadaver thing. I laughed, hard. This is about the only benefit left to being a Jets fan, definitely the best fan board.

I hope they aren't going out without their jackets.

This week, the Jets are looking at having Holmes, Keller and Hill out of the lineup. Josh Baker was also expected to be a contributor. Patrick Turner, the one WR who has been here a few years, was cut earlier this week, I believe. Going 4 wide (forget about 5 - it ain't happening), we're looking at Schilens/Kerley/Gates and.......J. Hill?

That's pretty ugly for a team that was not considered at all deep at WR. I suspect Chaz Schilens will be the fantasy sleeper of all sleepers. Now's his time to make some money.
Time for these bozo's to step up. Schillens gets the perfect opportunity to vindicate his pickup by the Jets

It makes no difference if Keller is playing or not, the Jets offense will always suck with this current roster of players. Sanchez controls this offense and he consistently drives the offense in the ground.

Kellere would be better served to continue to sit out. When Rex finally makes a change at QB, Keller will start playing again. Then, you'll suddenly see that Keller has chemistry with anyone he play with.
