Thread: Cushing Torn ACL?

    Cushing Torn ACL?

ESPN is saying Cushing suffered a knee injury on a late, low block by slauson.

Did anyone see this play? Was it late and/or cheap?

Slauson came in low with a chop block. Cheap shot. Is Mawae coaching him ?

    "dirty chop block"... lol.

On the drive preceding that one, when Foster had his 20(ish) yard scamper off the left side for a TD, Gruden made the comment how all the o-linemen chopped in unison and how it was like a beautiful orchestration. Of course, if the Jets do it... it's a cheap shot. Screw 'em.

It was a cut block.... unfortunately... Texan's were cut blocking last night as well..... I don't think it was a cheap shot, but was never a fan of cut block at knees.

Cut blocks are legal as long as the defender is not engaged with another player.

Looks like it was a legal block.

Knock the rules, don't knock Slauson. We had guys getting cut as well.

Don't care. If anything it's payback for that POS Panthers cornerback who took out Baker in the preseason.

I saw the same thing and thought about the irony.

Now, explain to me how it's payback! Did Brian Cushing put the order in to take out Baker???
