    Jets Tweets & Info 10/9

    Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN
Terrific game by Antonio Cromartie, who played all 66 defensive snaps + 3 offensive snaps. Had INT. Held Andre Johnson to 1 catch for 15 yds

Jets rookie LB DeMario Davis played a season-high 10 snaps vs Texans last night.

Quinton Coples played 30 of the 66 snaps (45%). Rookie DL Damon Harrison (5) & DB Josh Bush (2) got first action of season.

Jets patchwork WR corps: Schilens played 52 of possible 57 snaps. Kerley: 44 snaps. Newly acquired Jason Hill: 21. Antonio Cromartie had 3

For the 2nd straight week, Jets RB Bilal Powell had more snaps than Shonn Greene. Last night, Powell had 25. Greene had 24.

Mark Sanchez's league-low 48.4% completion rate is nearly 6% worse than the next closest QB (Andrew Luck-- 54.2%).

Severity of Kenrick Ellis' knee injury is unknown at this point. Sounds like he'll be having a MRI to get better indication.

The #Jets were crushed in time of possession again this week, having the ball for just 24:44 last night. #nyj

The #Jets had five passing plays of 24 or more yards last night, a definite improvement of late. Last wk: 0, vs Miami: 2 #Jets #nyj

Rex conference call scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. I stress "scheduled"

Why so soon? How could of the coaches have looked at the game film from last night already and have injury updates so soon for Rex to answer anything...

Rex said Dustin feels he'll be ready to go this week. #nyj

    Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN
Rex on Keller's availability: "I'm encouraged. when I talked to Dustin. He thinks he's going to go this wk, which will give us a huge boost"

    Brian Costello @BrianCoz
Don't read too much into Rex's answer on T.O. He never rules anything out personnel wise.

Rex said Dustin Keller feels he'll be able to play this week. "That will give us a huge boost."

Rex says "I'm not going to get into the what ifs." when asked if team continues to lose would he make a change at QB.

Rex thought defense played well other than long run by Foster and touchdown pass at beginning of the game. He thought they improved.

    .

T.O. would've caught that pass from Tebow.

Exactly right. RT @BrianCoz Don't read too much into Rex's answer on T.O. He never rules anything out personnel wise.

    Brian Costello ‏@BrianCoz
If someone asked Rex if they were thinking of signing @bobglauber to play WR, he'd probably say "you can never say never."

    Bob Glauber ‏@BobGlauber
Rex Ryan doesn't shut door on T.O., but my sense is it won't happen. Keller, S. Hill could return next week. Rex likes Jason Hill signing.

    Whew!

Weakside option with Tebow on one of final drives. If Schotty called those type of plays, the internet would have exploded

Sparano deserves criticism for a full borderline ridiculous play-calls last night. McKnight direct snap. Swing to 'Cro on final drive...
