    One of my fears...

If Sanchez were to lose his job, I feel we would be in for a few years of mediocrity. I don't want to be that team that does not make the playoffs for 5 or 10 straight years. Interchanging veteran and rookies QB's back and forth. Losing talent that we have on both sides of the ball...

This is just ****. It sucks. I really hope we can win some games with Mark at QB.

I don't blame you but if the HC decides otherwise its because he is afraid the Jets will be mediocre with him.

Well, a few is 2. Thats much different than 5-10

If the Jets go Rookie QB high, the rookie cap would help the security of the pick.COuldnt be a worse move than the Santonio signing.

    Wouldnt have to take 5-10.

    Did u catch a case?

If you're inferring the NY market will lose their team I say not a chance in hell. You'd have a better chance of seeing Jimmy Hoffa motorboating Marilyn Monroe on the 50 yard line.

He's referring to Direct TV. Not sure where you got leaving the NY market.

I dunno it was the whole uprooting thing. Apologies for my public school education and bowling ball sharpness.

A few years ago, SBIII wanted DirecTV but couldn't have it because a tree blocked his view.

SAR told him to cut down the tree.

    SBIII said no.

SAR told him he was defeated by tree.

What is amazing to me is everyone watching Sanchez's regression yet Mark Cavanaugh not even on a warm seat let alone hot. If he had a brain he would hire his own mentor like Tom Brady's recently deceased one.

Cavanaugh appears to be a problem here, yet, I don't see how replacing him with a dead man would help any thing or any one. Maybe we could raid the Packers staff for a live QB coach.

like = means similar to, not the same. Surely there is someone else 'like' Tom whatever his name was.

Aside from SBIII, that's all the Jets have ever known. I hope to god they don't pass on Sanchez he is the only current hope.

So you agree that a dead person would make a poor choice for a QB coach?

Normally yes, but over Cavanaugh, I'm not entirely sure. It could be an improvement.

As for the uprooting thing that was really about DirectTV...

"LA Jets" has a nice ring to it. Dodgers did it. Namath did it. Jets doing it might not be so farfetched.
