Exclamation Giant Eyeball Washes Up On Shore

What the hell did this come from? Giant whale? Giant Squid? Kraken?

Check Out This Mysterious Giant Eyeball That Just Washed Ashore in Florida

    Neetzan Zimmerman

A giant 'softball-sized' eyeball washed up on a beach in south Florida yesterday, and no one has any idea what it belongs to.
From the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Facebook page:
The FWC Tequesta Field Lab received a call that a citizen from Pompano Beach found what appeared to be a giant eye. Our staff in South Florida picked it up and placed it on ice. It will be sent for possible identification.
Among the theories currently being floated: A giant squid, a whale, or a very large swordfish. Or Cthulhu.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute will attempt to determine its origin after its been properly preserved in formalin to avoid decay.
    In the meantime, go nuts.

That would have to be one huge swordfish.

I say giant squid that had died and been eaten by other sea animals and pieces floated to the surface.

That would be a big ass swordfish. I'm shocked it lasted this long, usually any dead fish in the ocean usually has its eyes bitten out first...soft tissue.

    True story.

As a matter of fact, yes. With Peter Falk and Sandy Duncan. Why do you ask?
