yeah I'm super pysched about going into Foxboro after the Pats had a bad loss. I'm sure they won't be motivated and they won't win by 14+ points. No not at all.

Looks like its going to be one of those topsy turvy years where one week we'll all think the season is over and the next week we'll be talking about the division title. That has been the pattern so far at least.

The peripheral benefit of this is that it looks like the Pats are wasting one of Brady's last few elite years left.

technically we arent tied for first

the patriots would win the east if the season ended today based on better conference record i believe.

No. Head-to-head is first tiebreaker and division record is second. Conference record is actually the 4th tiebreaker after common opponent, which is third.

    New England

AFC East Champ (Wins tie break over NY Jets based on best win percentage in conference games. Wins tie break over Buffalo and Miami based on head-to-head win percentage.)http://espn.go.com/nfl/standings/_/t.../2/order/false

my guess is since they both havent played an even amount of division games that it reverts to the next tie breaker?

ok i think i figured it out...its not total division wins its win %...since both teams are unbeaten in the division that tie breaker is void and it goes to the next one on the list. in this case it goes to the 4th tie breaker...conference record.
