    Cognitive Dissonance

Gotta love the comment section on Salon. Just read one poster (left leaning) call out another (right leaning) as a Nazi, claiming:

This creep is a Nazi who has peppered his previous comments with little German Slogans which were only used during the Nazi Period.
To which another (left leaning) poster responded:

Brad, the miserable little *&%^ is also a flaming Likudnik.
His lies for Zionist Israel rival his lies on behalf of the GOP.
So, to recap, the poster in question is both a Nazi in the classic, German sense, and, simultaneously, a pro-Israel Likudnik.

    Love. It.

Although thats what I like about Doggin (one of many things). He's far too smart for the likes of us, yet he still reads and responds to us here.

Biggest problem with the internet- it has created a swath of people who now believe that they are informed, when they may in fact be even dumber than before.

It's nice. Like the lady that volunteers to read books to toddlers at the library.

And not slow so much as early. I was in the office by 8, and I like to start my day by going through the RCP articles. That took me to Salon . . . and the rest was history

    And tact. Lots more tact.

I was absent the day they were handing that out.

I'm sure about it, and I've probably read more posts in this forum over the years than any other single human being.

But aye, more patience, less aggression (although not less passion IMO), and far more manners and tact, as tater said.

If all of us were Doggin, Government might not suck so much.

(Sorry Doggin, I'm President of the Fan Club mate, even if I'm a dick to you some days...).

For such a smart guy, he sure picked a lousy football team to root for.

Cognitive Dissonance. Yes, this knob-polishing Crypto-Liberal convention slobberfest of a thread haz it in spades.

From "smart" pukes who are quick to call people bigots (some much for "tact") at a drop of a fedora for differing from their oddball, crackpot world view, to a subset of same (sub-pukes, or the puke thatpukes scrape off their shoes) completely oblivious to facts (AA programs have been in effect for college admissions since the 1960s, theBakke case came about from early 1970s discrimination) and still others lament (D) gov't abuses 24x7 and do nothing except enable them.

Yep, this thread has it all!
