Thread: Cimini speculates there's a small chance Tebow could be traded soon

Jones-Drew's cap hit would slaughter any hope of keeping Revis or Landry.

If you need a point of reference, see Johnson, Chris.

RB's don't gently descend anymore. They plummet to irrelevance quickly.

I agree. But MJD still looks good and his addition would make the Jets a true contender for this year (at least). He's still a top 5 RB. MJD is one of those RB's that make their o-line look good.

It would be an incredibly stupid thing to do.

    This.

without the constant hounding of the Tebow speculation and with the help of a new-found "Ground and Pound" attack, Sanchez flourishes and leads the Jets through a winning stretch, entering the month of December with a record of 8-4.

December 9th rolls around -- Jets @ Jaguars.

Tebow unleashes the Wrath of Jeebus on the Jets, a demoralized squad loses all its remaining games to finish the season 8-8 and out of the playoffs.

I just shivered a bit reading this - I've seen that movie before.

If Jacksonville could somehow be tricked into thinking Tebow is a good idea I'd love it. I just wonder if the Jaguars are as dumb as the Jets.

They ain't smart. Put their record up against the Jets the last 4 years. They are the worst team in the NFL, and no light at the end of the tunnel. Tebow might be great for them. No passing neccesary.

Trading Tebow would be the first step in this front office reestablishing itself as legitimate. The entire circus surrounding the Tebow trade was disgusting. I love the idea of getting Bowe, but it probably would never happen, because the Jets are the suck.

If the Jets trade Teblow this season I will sell my house:

    1) Nobody wants Tebow (only teams that even made offers last off-season were Jets and Jax)

    2) Woody is in love with Teabag and has his tongue stitched to his scotum

    3) Even if teams were interested why make this move mid-season?

If Pioli is actually considering trading Bowe for Tebow he is the dumbest pile of chit I have ever seen.

Pioli is obsessed with overrated qbs: Cassell, Quinn, Orton, now Tebow.

the nfl has a week 8 trading deadline for a reason for teams to make deals. im all for improving this team anyway possible. an every down player for a situational player seems like a no brainer.

Only way Miami might be interested is to boost attendance at Pro Player.

I'm not disagreeing with the idea of the Jets trading Tebow. I'm actually all for it. Get that clown out of here. But at the same time I just don't realistically see it happening.

Mid-season trades in the NFL are very rare in comparison to what happens in the trade deadline for NBA and MLB. Maybe Pioli is having a meltdown in Kansas City. One can only hope and pray.
