I love giving you a hard time
Great leader or not, Smith still makes $2.05 million, money that could've been better spent at other positions.

But Rex says that Smith is really smart, like one of the smartest players on the team.
He knows where to go & where everyone should be.
Sure, he's ALWAYS a step late getting there but the dude is smart & tough.
Sure he's too slow to actually use that toughness without getting a personal foul penalty but he's physical.
Last year was hilarious, I mean I had to laugh watching games with friends when EVERY pass, the camera would zoom out & there was Smith chasing the play from behind.
It was like groundhog day, over & over & over.
In years past we had no one to take his place to see if we could find anyone more competent.
Now we have Allen & Bush, maybe even Dowtin to play the LB/Safety role.

    LOL, very nice.

In the press conference Rex didn't give the termination impression. His first statement was that "it's a medical settlement that does not preclude us from bringing him back" and later said Connor and Hillard may play together in the future.

Seemed to be really going out of his way to leave the door open.

I beginning to see it your way.

John Conner has been terminated. Dowtin signed from PS

He was pretty useless, glad to see Rex move on from one of "his guys".

The guy could really play; how did he end up in Kentucky?

Gastineau went to East Oklahoma, but still...

For those of you who are up in arms saying that Tanny sucks because he wasted another draft pick...

Every single GM in NFL history has whiffed far more on fifth rounders than they have been succesful. Look at that class, how many of those fifth rounders are still in the league even?

The expectations some of you have are just unattainable.
