Not just tried under peer pressure.

Evident just from the paranoid stoners in this forum/thread:

Research has shown that, in chronic users, marijuana's adverse impact on learning and memory can last for days or weeks after the acute effects of the drug wear off.2 As a result, someone who smokes marijuana every day may be functioning at a suboptimal intellectual level all of the time.

    .
    Whats your excuse?

BTW....I wonder if you drink everyday you will then function at a suboptimal level.

    Or if you eat cheeseburgers.

    or don't get enough sleep.

    Let's legislate it all.

According to him I'm a paranoid pot smoking libertarian kid.

    Wrong on all accounts.

You're Exhibit A of brain function lost, ffluffer.

Is there any oddball/deviant practice habit belief or cult you won't defend?

Too much dope makes you forget what you just read, especially at your age. You start reading then you forget your place and you don't even know if you read the previous line or you imagined it.

Actually, the ballot question in Mass. is to allow medical marijuana use, NOT full legalization. It's already been decriminalized for amounts under one ounce, with $100 fine being the "punishment". The fine is an empty threat, however, as there is no process to enforce payment.

Does anyone know how many states are putting actual legalization on the ballot other than Washington?

Thanks to Obama (OweBowMao lol) and his cronies, I can see opportunity.... to bring together two groups that have fallen out of favor.

It's America people. Those that deserve each other, should marry each other.

Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama were all recreational drug users. President Kennedy was a drug addict/abuser.

They became President, and then tossed a few tens of thousand of kids, just liek themselves, in prison.

While this issue is the least important in 2012, I agree it's time to get this fixed, the costs (spending) cut, and the laws and thrust of our efforts changed.

I love this thread. The guys who remember the crap spouted at them in High school health class 30 years ago vs folks who smoked dope and know it does not turn people into amoral barbarians.
Here is a link I posted last January:

    http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=240389

Casual Marijuana Smoking Not Harmful to Lungs
"A marijuana smoker might have a few joints a month, or a small number of joints or pipe bowls a day," Kertesz said. "That's never going to be quite as much smoke as a tobacco smoker with a half-a-pack, pack-a-day or two packs-a-day habit."
