Getting rid of dead animals comes with owning a house/property. A shovel and a quick flick in to the woods is all you need.
Had a contractor replacing a fence and he found two dead opossums under a fake wooden bridge he was removing. One was starting to decompose, nasty and smelly. But he picked them up by the tails and threw them off the cliff into the woods behind our house.
Snacks for the black vultures that hang around here.
i had a dead raccoon under my porch. i called the police to see if anyone should look at it in case there was rabies in the area. someone reported a rabid looking bobcat. the dispatcher said she'd look into it. if she said there was no problem, i would have just got rid of it as i'm always getting rid of dead animals. my wife makes me give them a decent burial. next thing i know a police car comes up the driveway, officer gets out with a box, gives me a "what a phag" look, and puts the raccoon in a box and leaves.
a week later in the police blotter under the title "Boxed Raccoon" i was described as a worried caller.
I'm going today. I've gotten poison ivy before, but nothing this severe.
Its on my arm/wrist, and it's throbbing like a mother ****er.
I never have that kind of symptom from poison ivy before,....if it spreads to my hand I'm ****ed, because I wont be able to work/drive/shovel snow/ etc.

Ive seen shooting stars before, but this was was so low to the ground I'd be shocked if it didn't hit something. It had a very cool silverish green hue to it.
Isn't that usually some sort of sign that something bad is about to happen?
