Woody & Tanny R setting up for 2014

    Sitting on cap money
Bunch of contracts coming off the books in 2013
    Pace- Scott- Thomas- Smith- Pouha
    Harris will be redone/traded

I was thinking about this the other night & this division in 2 years is there for the taking.
Brady will be 2 years older

The Bills have just had the worst signings (Fitz & Williams) contracts will kill that team
    Miami is also rebuilding somewhat

When you look at the NY Jets going forward, they need a RB & some stud LBs
That's not that hard to find.
    2 years from now?
    Kerleys a great draft pick
Hill will be up to speed
Hopefully Holmes will be gone & they replace him with a "team" guy
2 drafts to get some young bad azz Olineman
Plenty of cap money to grab a couple top FAs
D is already young & should be rockin in 2014
    Wilk- Coples- Ellis- Davis

Woodys a fame whore, nothing would be bigger than the Jets "getting" to the 1st Superbowl to be played outdoors @ Metlife.
Sure, every team tries to win the Superbowl every year but it just seems to me that he has Tanny setting up the perfect storm to go for it again like they did when they signed LT, Richardson, Scott, Woody ect.
Jets will be players in FA over the next 2 years
    Book it.

The Jets aren't sitting on cap money really (http://www.nyjetscap.com/salary.html). I think they freed up some cap money in the offseason to sign a RT cut in camp and that simply didn't happen this year.

Most of those contracts coming off the books are a mixed blessing also. They are all overpaid but they aren't terrible and they also have to be replaced. That is not easy or cheap to do.

For as outrageous a concept as this post is, it's pretty well articulated and there's actually a possibility of it all coming together.

If only we didn't squash similar opportunities in the past.

I'm sure the team plans ahead for multiple years but to infer that they are somehow expecting to lose for a couple of years so they can be good in 2014 is silly.

So who are Woody and Tanny setting up to be the QB to take them to the promised Land in 2014?

If the Jets win the Super Bowl in the 2014 season, I'll be very happy. But the game wouldn't be played at MetLife Stadium. That's next season's Super Bowl, isn't it?

So after the San Fran game, it was Mr. T is an idiot, Rex needs, to go he's lost the team

Now its these guys have a plan, we have young guys stepping up, look to 2014.

Why can't 2012 be our year?

Again who in the AFC scares you other than maybe the Texans?

Lets keep some optimism on this season. If you told me the Jets would be 3-4 with all the injuries they have had and still in the mix in the AFC playoff picture I would absolutely take that.

Jets didn't sniff free agents this off season.
Sure, they have to look like they are trying each year but I think they know they have they're full allotment of draft picks, we will have some money.
    Welker will leave the Pats
Jets will draft Lb, RB, Oline
    FA LBs
They are set up front Wilk, Coples, Ellis
They have Davis, Harris if they keep him
Dowtin might turn out to be a player
They are set at CB with cro-Revis-Wilson
I think we will resign Keller, sign a blocking TE & Reauland will be a jack of all trades TE.
Jets should try to sign MJD to a 2 year contract
Sanchez would be a different QB with a scary running game & a guy that can catch a swing pass & go 20 yards with it, instead of 5
You can get to a Superbowl with Sanchez proven by our 2 AFCCGs
Jets just need to have a younger faster defense up front & win the AFC east
    So they play at home.
That's the plan & Tanny & Woody know it.

we better draft a QB with major talent! Tannehill might be the best young QB in the AFCE. Its too early to tell but he is performing well and without excuses! We need another QB soon! Let him sit and learn. But draft a QB.

Did he win those two AFCCG's? Thats what I tought! Exactly how well did he play QB in the two games? He played great in NE in the playoffs and seems to have regressed in some ways since that time. We must acquire a major QB talent soon in the draft. As I stated earlier, let him sit and learn behind Sanchez for a few years.

You must be a Jet fan that didn't watch those 2 AFCCGs?
He actually brought us back from a huge deficit in Pittsburgh because the defense couldn't stop the run & had the lead in Indy when Manning burned Drew Coleman.
If our team can stay healthy on offense, Sanchez will be the QB in this years playoffs.
    You'll see.

Why? Because Revis & Holmes are out for the year?
Keller, Hill & our nose tackles were hurt
Kerleys looking pretty good, Coples, Davis, they went for the bowl in 2009, 2010, didn't happen so now they have reload & try again.
