Mhew. We might as well just hire the Kelly who cuts copy and pastes evry other 5 minuets. She or perhaps he could have the same result if only given a chance,

Yeah, it only took him 14 years to win a SB.

Chip Kellly would be very interesting to see as an NFL coach

David Shaw is probably the guy who translates better to the pros if you want to go the college route.

Good points, but I want Brian Kelly.

Notre Dame is the most physical, disciplined team I've seen in a long time. And this is coming from a person who has despised Notre Dame all his life.

14 years sounds like a week to this old JET fan. Not sure I make it another 14 though? How did ND's linemen manage to gain all that weight so fast? Not so sure this won't be another crooked coach.

I'd rather have JI Kelly. At least there are plenty of articles.

NFL players would never play for Brian Kelly. That **** he pulls in college would never fly in the pros. Just ask Todd Haley.

Chip Kelly??? When will people realize that winning college coaches doesn't necessarily translate into being a successful NFL coach? A bigger issue with Chip is that he's never even been an assistant coach in the NFL...he has no clue how to handle it. Nick Saban had experience as a D-Coordinator in NFL before his time with Miami...and he couldn't even win.

Plus Chip's whole offensive philosophy is about having the fastest players and running tricky gimmick plays. IMO, he'd get eaten alive in the NFL, especially in NY. He's coached at Columbia, New Hampshire and now Oregon....just disaster written all over it.

Chip is the one. He will never come to the Jets, why take the pay cut and have to deal with this joke of a team.

Ding ding ding. We have our geniuses of the day. Look at Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Bobby Petrino (couldn't even hack a full season in the pros), and I'm sure there are plenty more that I can't think of off the top of my head. Just because they're great in the college game, does NOT mean they translate to great NFL coaches.

And again I totally agree on the Brian Kelly beet red in the face doing all but beating his players. Won't fly in the NFL
