The scheme in which Sanchez would thrive...

    NOONES!!!! hahaa jk

In college he did his best work moving around..

play action. roll outs. line shifts.

I believe he isn't ever nor would ever be a good QB in this league. with that said we didn't exactly give him the opportunity to come into his own.

for one. the running game is so bad play action passes don't fool anyone.
with his stature did anyone really think he was going to be a successful pocket passer?? NO.

    Drew Brees is Drew Brees.

I strongly believe his damage to the team would be much less costly if they tried to play him in a situation in which he can actually succeed in.

We've seen he already stinks in the pocket. so why not try to have a scheme that enhances the success of the "Franchise QB"

all that being said. lets ride out the rest of the year. hope Sparano is gone along with Sanchez and lets draft Collin Klein Or Geno Smith

Stay safe while SANDY JOHNSON causes havoc on the East Coast/

Its going to disappoint a lot of people when Sanchez is still on the roster next year. Due to the ill advised extension I dont see the Jets eating all the dead money and no one in their right mind would trade for Sanchez.

The offense is such a mess I'd really rather draft someone like Mantti Teo or Jarvis Jones. Either one of those would fix a lot of whats wrong with the defense. A rookie QB isnt going to do much with a broken OL, below average WR core, and no running game.

There is no system in which Sanchez would thrive.

    The kid is finished.

I'm convinced that this kid could stink up the joint for the next 5 years here and guys like Ray Ray and sg3 would still defend him.

"But he's still only 30 years old!"

Sanchez just needs the right league, not the right scheme. Stop hating. In the right place, he could hoist 9 or 10 of these:

Ageed. He should never start another game for the Jets, wasting everyone's time.

I really wanted him to succeed too. I just have never seen a QB at this level be as inaccurate as he is. I just heard Namath and Steve Young say there really is no way he can turn his game around. Namath actually finally spoke of the elephant in the room, "Look, if you want the ethnicity, good looking kid, trying to ramp up the box office...then he's your man. But the fact is he was a HUGE reach in the Draft, but Woody Johnson had PSLs to sell and wanted all those things."

Again the Jets hurt by non-football thinking, and in a big way. They have to carry this dead wood Sanchez next year too, further retarded the process of finding that Franchise QB that has eluded them for almost 40 years.

Saddest thing is I've thought that I would take Richard Todd, OBrien 100x before I'd take Sanchez. I'd take Boomer Esaison after all he had left was a rag arm when he came to the Jets 50x before I'd take Sanchez....and none of those guys were picked as high as Sanchez was.

Anywhere but here. Rex and his ground and pound bullsh!t will end any Qb's shot in the NFL. Any college qb drafted by the Jets should refuse to sign and wait a year and re enter the draft, the Jets are the kiss of death to any Qb's career.

Sanchez is one decent WR, one decent RB, a good TE, and a slightly improved OL away from being a reasonable QB. Not saying he'd light things up without a bigger overhaul, but Sanchez could play in any system as long as the Jets had the players for that system. Sanchez's failures are actually Tanny's failures. Rex's failures are actually Tanny's failures. Look at special teams yesterday. We know our special teams coaching isn't the problem, so what happened? The problems are at the top. Serving up Sanchez as another scapegoat won't help the franchise.

This is about the fifth time I've said it on this board, but there aren't any QBs in this draft worth taking in the first round. It would be a huge reach to pick any QB in the top 5-10, which I think we will end up.

So let me get this straight, Sanchez would be good if he had a pro bowl center, 2 decent guards, a pro bowl left and right tackle, 2 outstanding WR's, 2 decent RB's and a pro bowl TE, does than sum it up?

Who said anything about pro bowl, just middle of the road would be fine.

when are some Jets fans gonna realize that getting rid of Sanchez isn't the answer, getting rid of Rex isn't the answer. The answer is Talent, and we have very little, the best Teams in the league have had the same coach and qb for 7 or 8 years and thats what works in this league. We have a talent problem on offense and our front 7 need to be younger and faster, Tannenbaum left this offense off his to do list I guess because the talent on offense is a joke,no big play makers a revolving door of wide recivers and a OC who can't put up 30 in a madden game, Tanny needs to be shown the door, they shouldn't even let him clean out his office, just have security escort him out the bulding

You guys talking about the lack of talent and Sanchez not being the problem have NO FRIGGIN CLUE about football.

Is talent going to make Sanchez accurate?

Is talent going to make him read defenses better?

Is talent going to make him more aware in the pocket?

If you want to talk about a lack of talent, then talk about Sanchez lacking talent. The guy is a waste. He is a nice backup QB, not a NFL starter.

Ok smart guy on an internet message board...

Please take away Sanchez..... and answer this; please name the team that has won a SB with a poor OL, poor RB and or running game and WRs who can't catch the ball or run the wrong routes in NFL history? Name the team? You can't.......

You need a plan, talent and proper talent development to win in the NFL!!

    Don't know football!!!!

    Good Grief!!!!

It all starts with the QB. Our Oline, RBs and WRs are not as bad as people make them out to be. Swap out Sanchez with a top 10 QB and we are much better.
