Facile. Well, aren't YOU the clever one.
Here's the bottom line (I'll use common language): SANCHEZ SUCKS

He is among the 3-4 worst QBs in the league. Tebow has guts at least.
Rex the moron and Sparano the idiot do not know how to use him.
Rex has achieved what? Sparano just gets fired. Pettine is a buttboy and even Westhoff has declined. He entitled, he's an old guy who WAS good at least.
So YOU think Sanchez is wonderboy, do you? And who is a bad judge of talent. I guess Greene and Slauson are studs also?

You are assuming our coaches know wtf they are doing?

Last year: "If Eric smith can't play he will not be in!"
This year: "If Pace and Thom,as can't play they wouldn't be in!"

Tebow is a poor candidate for a long term starting QB but at least he has shown guts, a will to win and making some plays to go along with his mistakes. The Qb we have right now is the worst starter in the league. It's worth a shot putting in the Tebow package because if we stay the course we are going to win 5 games this year.

Sanchez was a developmental QB that was anointed starter. They asked him to do very few things. Now; they are asking him (knowing he's missed out on 2 seasons of college ball) for things they didn't prepare him for.

(Perception counts; if #84 catches that pass, and we choke the clock the way the coaches designed, this conversation has less legs, just saying.)

Now Rex has to sit his prize QB; after getting bum rushed with Tebow. Why would he want to go along? Rexenbaumchez may not be beli-Brady, but they are willing to try different things.

Can't you say the same thing about Sanchez? Isn't that what makes Sanchez infuriating? The fact that he shows he can throw one great ball right before throwing three horrible ones.

Get what you can for both. Sanchez, because of his contract and recent play won't bring in anything. The Jags seem to be clamoring for Tebow, get what you can for him. I would like to scratch the QB situation and start over next year, but Sanchez's contract makes that difficult.

focus on the draft the rest of the way. Starting Sanchez ensures the highest pick possible. So for that reason alone I support trading Tebow.

Woody will never let this happen. If he does, I'll be absolutely shocked.

    Garbage excuse of the day?

Sanchez has excellent footwork and mechanics. This is his 4th year in the nfl with 60 games played, and mucho playoff experience. Aside from his first year in the league our run/pass ratios have been similar to this year. Our passing game is specifically designed to his strengths with out routes, post, and slants. He got a new contract being paid as a top 10 qb in the league this last year.

What was he not prepared for? Please: be specific.

Sanchez is being outplayed by just about every qb including many rookies and real developmental qb's like Ryan tannehill who was a wr in college at one time.

We are too dumb to use him, so might as well trade him. We get a draft pick to help build through the draft, plus it get Tebow out of this frustrating situation. Could you imagine what it must be like for him to sit there on the sidelines forced to witness Suckchez's gutless QB play every week and have to act like the good teammate? It has to be enough to drive even Tebow to insanity.

Only way it happens is if Tebow asks to be traded

He's a gun-slinger and they are now actively getting him weapons on the outside.

In 2009-2010, He had the training wheels on, and yet and made the most of short filed opportunities provided by defense and ST. At heart, Sanchez is a quick strike guy, now learning to do it all, out in public. So who knows who we have here?

Chad Pennington had a profound effect on the Jets O philosophy; Chad at his best would usually not put the defense in a bad spot; he could work the clock and the sticks. That's what the Jets FO wanted from Sanchez; the window was open -don't screw it up!

Fast forward to 2012, and it is obvious that Rexenbaum thought Mark could "flip the switch"; yet they are only now stocking the team for a change in offensive philosophy. So their lack of experience here makes Sanchez out to be worse than he really is (even considering accuracy and consistency).

If they can get a 7th for him.. DO IT!!!!

    Any pick is worth it.

Jets were idiots giving up a 4th, and I don't think there's anyone else as dumb to do such a move, so forget that...

If they say 7th this year and conditional the next year.... Jump all over that ****!

Actually, his footwork and mechanics have some serious issues and you can see it in his passing. It's why he's late/behind on slants and why his deep passes flutter.

    This ^^ x 1,000,000

I would love to see Tebow get a whole quarter or at least a whole drive
to himself without Mark coming back in to screw it up!

Rex wont do it because it would be the nail in Sanchez coffin and would lower
    his trade value.

He's getting better in patches; still inconsistent. That's why Rex says what he says.

Tebow doesn't want a trade to the Jags. They are committed to Gabbert. Why would he want the same old same old down there? Dumb trade move. I think he stays a Jet.
