This is a direct message to SAR I

You believe the Jets are going to win 5 games this year.

Now first off, you said this before the injuries so...

    Anyway,they already have 3 wins.

You said Jacksonville was one of the others. I'm assuming the Bills is the other.

I think they lose at Seattle and against New England.

So you believe that they will lose to:

St. Louis, Arizona, Tennessee, San Diego.

Explain please, given the Jets penchant for beating up bad teams like they did to the Colts.

Don't think so. He has a point.
It won't be JUST 5 wins nor will it be 10 wins.

Jets middle of the pack again. Competing with 4 other teams for the 6th playoff spot.

Last year 8-8 was in. I've seen 7-9 recently.

The Jets will be underdogs in all 4 of those games.

I don't think against Arizona at home. Cardinals have lost 4 in a row and play at Green Bay and Atlanta before playing St. Louis.

St. Louis might be a slight favorite because of the HFA. But they are 3-5 and have lost 3 in a row.

San Diego will probably be favored but for some reason the Jets seem to have the Chargers number. Especially Rex, who is 2-0 against the Chargers with the Jets.

Tennessee will get an HFA as well but they are also 3-5.

The Jets are losing the next 4 games. At 3-9 that ends our season and the quit will be on. While 3 of the last 4 look possibly winnable, the Jets won't care and Ryan will be out the door.

Frankly, I don't see this team winning 5 games. I think I see 3, maybe 4 if Tebow gets a start and has something to play for.

Thank you for starting this thread, eye opening for me.

Give reasons though. State why and prove your case. Otherwise you're just blowing smoke.

What reason do you need? Have you watched this team? They are awful and just got blown out at home to an average dolphins team. Coach stinks, qb stinks, receivers are crappy, no pass rush, slow linebackers etc.

How about you give us a reason why they are going to win some of these games.

Because against inferior or level competition, they beat up on people, i.e. the Colts and the Bills.
They are a bully team. This is what they are.

It takes me two hours to get my iPad to a 40% charge in the minivan and I'm not wasting my blackout time on a listed Blind Homer like you.

    @Seattle (obvious)
@Rams (back to back travel, NE prep a priority, Schotty wants it bad)
    New England (short week, obvious)
Arizona (they are the better team)
@Jacksonville (we are 3-9 going in, team quits)
@Tennessee (we are 3-10, team really quits)
San Diego (Tebow a Christmas gift start to end the home schedule, stupid win)
@Buffalo (it's over for the Ryan regime, 4-12)

Pick a game, any game, we'll get another win somewhere. That's 5-11.

    We're not.

If half the Mods+ weren't hurting from Sandy, it's be deleted by now.

With that said, SAR loves attention as much as any poster in this community. So I doubt he's overly concerned with a semi-callout thread.

I would argue with you on would be Arizona. They have their own QB problems right now. And they are likely going to be coming into that matchup having lost 6 of their last 7.

Same with St. Louis. Playing San Francisco this week, they are likely to be coming in having lost 4 in a row.

Two of your losses are based on the mentality of the team, which we will have to wait and see.

    Other than that...

Ummmm, think the Jets being 3-8 in their last 11 games has anything to do with it?

    What is your point?

If the Jets go 6-10 you're going to make another callout thread and tell me I was very, very wrong in July?

But you know as well as I do that they beat up on inferior to level teams.

Exactly. Which makes me a bit of a schmuck. Except I'm being a schmuck to a schmuck. So the schmuck gets schmuck thrown right back in his face.
